In this case, we're using the router to plane laminated sections of Atlantic White Cedar which were used to build a custom Ofuro, a Japanese soaking tub.

Cnc-cut butterfly arikata or butterfly splines used to keep cracks in wood from continuing. A beautiful and traditional process done in this case to produce an incredible cedar soaking tub in the Japanese Ofuro style.
