This residence is a contemporary interpretation of a “House with a courtyard”.The house was designed with all the rooms and private spaces around the central skylight courtyard which also doubles up as a family living space. The private spaces were defined with glass partitions, which provide separation between spaces yet retains fluidity. Passive design features like air vents at lower level and clear storey vents at the level of the skylights provide a comfortable indoor environment.
