The residence constructed in the late 90s needed to be extended by converting open terrace to bedroom and toilet. The client requirement was to reduce heat, increase the natural light and airflow. The structural concerns were to be directly addressed. Addition of a sopanam at the verandah and modifications to the elevation which will not make massive changes to the elevation and minimal damage to the structure. Inclusion of an office space and steelworks were also designed.
