Interior Designer's own home in the woods
This is the most fantastic fireplace ever. The moment I saw it I knew I would buy the house!
That sliver of an angle is a design element I often incorporate in my projects. I don't like the furniture to hug the walls. It's too static. In the foreground of this image is a built-in bench. Clustered next to it are two original Josep Hoffman chairs I found in a Paris flea market. floating on the far side of the room is a sofa and ottoman designed with 50's flair and an Arts & Crafts rocker...(sorry, my friend Elizabeth has dibs.) An artist-made table with no two legs alike occupies the far left corner of the room.
