The Terrene Den is a residence standing at Malabar hills with a serene view of the ocean and the rich Mumbai heritage in its surrounding. The clients were an expecting couple who wanted to convert their bedroom in a private and a semi private space for them and their baby. The aesthetics they had in mind were very earthy with the use of materials like cane and wood.

The diffused light incident on the warm tones of the flooring and wardrobe finish adds a very vintage charm to the space. The couple wanted to add arches in some elements of the design primarily to add geometry for the purpose of engaging the users with an intricate design detail. We as a studio firmly believe in never compromising on the natural advantages of a space like wind and light as they give an innate touch and balance to our design.
