Embraced with beautiful daylight and shadows throughout the day, the main living and dining area have tall, glazed windows. The glazed window opens directly to the terrace, ensuring an easy sense of outdoor/indoor living, perfect for a morning coffee. Custom made flooring in pretty shades of pinks and tan is laid onto the terrace. The living room is finished in creamy shades of paint and grey-brown textured flooring. Seating upholstered with Vaya fabric paired with a traditional carpet from Jaipur rugs underneath makes a comfortable living space, perfect for watching TV or curling up with a book. A pretend fireplace finished in Annie Sloan’s chalk paint sits upon a clay painted brick wall creating a focal point around the diningA grand eight-seater dining table in teak wood is placed opposite the altar/ fireplace with a beautiful last supper painting as the highlight. One side of the brick wall is attached to a custom made built-in rack finished in a shade of beige from Asian Paints. This is where the couple plans to set their 7 feet Christmas tree during the festive period. The ceiling and the beam cladded with wood fills the space with warm and rustic beauty. Behind the dining space is a lovely bar cabinet and counter separated from the eating zone with a round pillar and beam like structures. Bar is put together with glossy marble top and black-painted cabinets accentuated with a pretty Victorian faucet purchased off Amazon and locally sourced brass knobs. A sliding door fitted within an arched panel opens to the kitchen, where handmade cabinets are painted in dark green and red. This room, facing west, has perfect amount of light hitting the lovely patterned floor and counter during sunset. Fluted glass and dark green cabinets are fitted alongside black textured stone cladding perfecting the moody vibe of the kitchen. There is a built-in oven and hob paired with lighter countertop and black backsplash. The principal bedroom, a beautiful north and east facing room that enjoys the morning light through two large windows, also has tongue and groove cladding paired with a beautiful green floral Borastapeter wallpaper. The room also has a wooden fireplace chalk painted in Annie Sloan’s Athenian Black. A large print of Alphonse Mucha’s Salon des Cent rests above this bespoke fireplace cum dresser. Dark wooden floorboards add warmth to the room. Ikea mirror frame, hung besides the dresser, is refinished in gold paint to accentuate the peach walls of the room. Green pillars and panel make a pretty frame for the lovely mountain view on one side. This side of window is dressed with plain white roller blinds which also becomes a projector screen for romantic movie nights. Oak wood poster bed with a curvy cream headboard takes the centre of the room. The primary bedroom has an ensuite bathroom which was reimagined with a concrete bathtub and dinky décor pieces. A blue-painted semi glazed door opens to this pretty bathroom. Though a separate vanity room is right opposite the main bedroom, the bedroom also has a fluted glass black cupboard that provides excellent storage in the bedroom too.
