Mountain of Spiritual Knowledge
A museum that Re-imagines the Relationship Between the 5 elements, Spiritual philosophies, and the People. Sited on the banks of river Narmada, the built form enjoys a beautiful and contoured site in Mandhata Parvat. The distinct visual identity of the museum has been derived from regional materials and vernacular narratives, expressed in a manner that responds to the local climate. Using local stonework as a medium to narrate mythological stories, envisioned at an unprecedented architectural scale. We integrated design language derived from Indian temple architecture with 5 internal courtyards to celebrate 5 elements.
