The client’s specification was something new from what they had been living in. The main idea was something luxurious yet simple, chic. Gold was used as a connecting element for all the spaces from the entrance to the living room to the bedrooms and mainly the prayer room .In the other rooms it is used in detailing like the furniture, lights , metal detailing - handles etc.
Gold is timeless. It is very approachable and can be combined with numerous schemes, setting a luxurious mood. While the living room it was mainly gold with black for creating an opulent mood, in the master bedroom it is used with whites and light greys to create a heavenly look. The guest bedroom is funked up with customized gold metal hanging lights. While the girls bedroom has an eclectic yet earthy feel as gold is teamed up with pine wood. The project is an experiment with gold as a color in the most subtle manner to create a luxurious spaces.
