Holland Park is among the most coveted addresses in London — and this project demanded a standard of finish to match. JK Build & Design was commissioned to carry out a comprehensive renovation of this substantial period property in W11, transforming every level of the home whilst preserving the architectural grandeur that defines the neighbourhood.
The scope of works covered the full breadth of what a luxury renovation entails: structural alterations, full replanning of the layout, bespoke kitchen and bathrooms, complete electrical rewire (NICEIC certified), new plumbing throughout (Gas Safe registered), custom joinery on every floor, new flooring, and a meticulous redecoration from basement to roof. Period features — cornicing, ceiling roses, original fireplaces — were carefully restored and integrated into the new design rather than removed.
The interior language balances the heritage of the building with a thoroughly contemporary way of living. Kitchens and bathrooms were designed as high-specification spaces that could hold their own in any luxury home globally, whilst the reception rooms retained the scale and elegance that Holland Park properties are celebrated for. Natural materials — oak, marble, limestone — were specified throughout, chosen for their longevity and quiet luxury.
