Nodding to the building's former life as a factory in the industrial part of Brooklyn, the client wanted to create a masculine space that balanced vintage styling and current trends. The kitchen cabinetry, which we repainted in a dark teal, ties into the Shaker style wood paneling added into the main area and the custom mudroom bench. Despite the longer lead times, we went for brass finish hardware throughout to accentuate the period vibes and punctuate the moody background.
