This client wanted to open up the space between the kitchen and dining room, but the stairs to the basement were located there. So, they took the walls down by half and we reworked the entire kitchen.
In addition to removing the soffits, we moved around the appliances and changed the footprint of the space. The client opted to do floating shelves instead of wall cabinets to further open the space.
