Contemporary Lines
The 1200 sq.ft apartment has been designed by merging two adjoining apartments which also lends a linear tone to the house. A living, dining, kitchen, an entertainment area and two bedrooms complete this home for a family.
As space was a constraint, the common spaces have been designed as open plan making the bedrooms the two enclosable spaces.
A large motif by Sicis on one of the walls marks the entry to the living and dining. The shimmering tiles in silver and black set the design tone for the rest of the house. To seamlessly combine these areas, the wooden rafters in the ceiling add an interesting dimension to the space. These areas have been treated in pastels with dim lighting and to maintain a modern design tone the accessories have been kept to minimal.
There's a mix of direct and indirect lights have been used to make the space look softer and warmer. LED's in the wooden panels add drama.
