The house located at Othukkungal Mallappuram Kerala, is a bold structure takes on an unconventional form consisting of rectangular and boxy structures and glazed facades that rest on wooden tiles. The exterior of these boxes provides a uniformity of expression that doesn't distract from the overall form.
This design was an attempt to relate to its natural context, this house adopts an organic plan that reflects the fluidity and morphology of the natural landscape.
The main windows of the rooms were oriented to obtain the penetration of the natural light deep into the house and ventilation.
To take advantage of surrounding landscape and privacy of the site, the glasses were used as the wall which exposes outside to provide a soothing view and create a greater sense of connection with nature.
