When it came to designing their own office in Pune, interior designer Poonam Mehta and lighting designer Akash Mehta, of AMPM Designs used their expertise to create a classy, tasteful space, devoid of clutter that reflects the firrn's ethos.

Work environments are important-they offer potential clients a first impression of a business and can be constructed as a reflection of a brand. The duo took the opportunity to design the space so that it would reflect their design sensibilities. Both the designers wanted an uncluttered atypical office where, despite having demarcations, the spaces were multipurpose. The floor plan therefore included a reception area, followed by a cabin-cum-meeting room. For Poonam, workstations and a consultation corner, a conference room and Akash’s cabin. They also chalked out a storage room and large cabinets for materials, samples and catalogues, thus ensuring mess-free spaces.
