Having outgrown their Victorian semi-detached, the family had initially settled on a rear extension, however upon running into complications with this, Greenway associates came to a decision that a multi-story side extension would be preferable and better cater to their vision.

Removing the wall that separated the kitchen and dining room created a modern and bright space for the kitchen and relocated family room, well-lit by bifold doors to the rear and a roof lantern above. Additional changes on the ground floor included a lavatory for ease of access and a designated utility room to claim back kitchen space from the washer and dryer.
The first floor remained largely the same save for the slight protrusion of the master bedroom, en suite bathroom the clients requested and a skylight in the study space.

The property exterior was finished in a Stucco white render, extension included, with the new roof in a similar style to an ideal country home.
