This modern contemporary home belongs to Mr. Deepraj Paul. It's a 3bhk flat, in the living and dining area is beautifully separated by an aquarium partition which is adding an extra design element in the area and enhancing the look. The back wall of the sofa has vertical pattern wallpaper and lacquered glass panel on the sides with a golden clock to add up a extra charm. As we move forward the aquarium is visible from the dining area as well which has some open shelves giving it a designer look. The dining area wall has the same grey wallpaper as the TV unit to create a relation between dining area and living area. An display unit with open shelve is there to keep souvenirs etc.
Master bedroom
Here we have used existing furnitures. The bed and one wardrobe is existing.The loft above the wardrobe is an addition done by us along with puja unit beside which has a beautiful intricate jaali design on the sides. A space for a small study unit has been created beside the bed. As to give a contrasting look to the existing furnitures we have used beige color in the newly made furnitures like TV unit and new wardrobe created inside the niche.
Kids bedroom
The princess looking room is designed for their beautiful twin daughter. The bed is the main element here to create the princess look with a canopy on the back wall and wallpaper. The wardrobe is glazed with a barbie sticker to match up the look. Beside the wardrobe, is the house shaped study unit with open and closed units. A simple ledge for TV is given with a grooved back panel.
Parents bedroom
As we have used existing furniture in the master bedroom, here also we have used an existing antique poster bed. The look of this room is ethenic. To meet up the design expectations the tv unit has been designed in laminate with wooden carved legs. The wardrobe is finished with laminate and jaali on the middle of the shutters.
