I got it in 4 but may be one of the stupidest Connections ever, a parody of itself.
Many swing bridges, lift bridges and highway bridges including one lit up at night with chase lights.
Over 20 lock and dam systems we went through on our sail upstream.
What I didn't expect was how peaceful it was. Not a lot of barge traffic, and the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge is a haven for migratory birds, fish, wildlife since 1924. The refuge stretches 261 river miles from Wabasha, Minnesota to Rock Island, Illinois, and protects more than 240,000 acres of Mississippi River floodplain. And dark enough at night to see the Milky Way...something I haven't seen in years.
That white mass in the front on water's edge is actually a sand bar covered in white pelicans. We also saw bald eagles on our trip.

I ordered these from nordstrom rack, thinking they might be a good alternative to jeans. Reviews say they’re flattering…we’ll see. They have several colors.
While I was gone, my new Hammitt purse arrived and it is so pretty — the leather is so soft. I need to determine if it’s big enough — kinda wish it was maybe an inch bigger, but I will put my stuff in it today and see. I also got new sunglasses, which I am loving. I had been wearing a very old, scratched pair. I saw them in a store months ago and liked them but didn’t buy, then finally decided I needed them and found them on sale online.
Closet switch/purge time is almost here, and I am planning to be ruthless about discarding anything that doesn’t ”spark joy”.
@dedtired, you are not an "old head." You are youthful. I am sure these are not wildly exaggerated "wide legs" (I see quite a range under that term). If you like them, keep them. I would try a size down though.
PS If I thought you were an "old head" I would have said nothing. But really, you are not!
Pricklypear- My everyday uniform consists of LLBean tops and jeans and I have quite a few of the 100% supima cotton ones. I have a store near by so it's easy to stop in and handy for returns too. Most of mine are Polo shirts but I also have regular t shirts (long sleeve, short sleeve and 3/4). I don't have any scoop neck but I have 2 of their jewel neck T shirts. They wear well and the sizing runs true - just a good basic top.
ded - I like the blouse and think the color would look great on you. Have you selected pants or a skirt to go with it?

When I took my almost 104 yr old mother to the hair salon on Friday, she had on one of her better outfits. She looked very nice and received several compliments. When we got home, I asked if she wanted to change into something more comfortable. Her response - "No, I'm keeping this on. It makes me feel good." This was to sit in her chair and nap, knowing she wasn't going anywhere. So when life takes away a lot of things, one thing we can hopefully still do for ourselves is care about our appearance and how our clothes, etc. can make us feel.

I hate football, but hold on. The rest of the family... husband, daughter, son-in-law, and grandson are the biggest Eagles fans that more than makes up for me.
Okay Lily, you get a pass being the rest of your family is represented. I have a cousin who lives outside Philly in Gladwyne so she's an Eagles fan. She returned to her roots when we went to the Superbowl 😆

The order from Wallmart will be deop-shipped. They are trying to build a seller platform aka Amazon.
As for the leftover furniture, i encountered this with my BIL’s house. FBMP for free wasn’t worth my time because nobody shows us for things that have no value. You can try a local buy nothing group, but that also takes time.
Ultimately we paid Junk Luggers to fill two trucks which they sort and dispose of properly.
Time vs money. At some point you just need to get it done.
