“Palmwood is thus far the best contractor I have worked with. Their personnel from the big boss down to the general workers are very professional and are service-oriented. They try their best to match your design ideas with your budget by giving you alternative ways/suggestions to achieve what you want. Most importantly, they are very patient and always there to listen to your concerns about the house. The best thing about engaging the services of Palmwood is that their carpentry work is very good. They are very detailed and would ensure the workmanship is top-notch. And when you engage Palmwood, you liaise with the boss himself thus decisions can be made almost immediately. Vincent is very accommodating and nice - he will reply to your late night SMSs or WhatsApp messages and would entertain your rants about the house calmly. The quotation given is also very realistic and not ballooned to the point that the figure given is way out of your budget. So far we have been very happy working with Palmwood even though we have not had a proper handover yet.”

“This is a late review but I see it as a confirmation of the quality of Field and Country Concept’s workmanship. I ordered a craft closet of sorts from Field almost 3 years ago, and recently contacted him again to do some touch ups and also changing of the wheels. (The wheels has stripped as it’s the nature of rubber.) However, what I am most delighted about Field’s professionalism is that even though the project has already ended after 3 years, he still made sure that the closet is up to standard, and asking me if I wanted anything to be fixed or adding more stuff like shelves etc. There was nothing to be fixed because everything worked perfectly for 3 years, despite constant abuse (I’m notorious for not taking good care of my stuff). I casually mentioned that I wanted more dowels to store more washi tapes, and Field immediately asked me to send him some photos, and arrived with a solution that was way better than I had anticipated. I’ve heard a lot of horror stories about other carpenters having shoddy workmanship, and this made me realise how lucky I am to even be able to find Field as the very first carpenter I work with to get this work done. If I have to make another craft closet, I will definitely go to Country Concept again, no questions ask.”

“Thanks Michael for helping us build our dreams home. Your flexibility and professionalism has been very helpful while working with you. Michael is professional in capentery work, not only that he also provided overall service of wet work. He is flexible and works within our budgets and provided a very reasonable costing for us. After much comparison we decided to go with him. During the reno, he has been very flexible and view the site daily and advice us of of any issues he spoted. His after sales services is excellent even if we have slight issues, he will arrange for service the following day or next. I would highly recommend him and his team of workers. A happy customer!”
