“We had Archadeck build a screened porch for us recently and we couldn't be happier! This was a complicated project in part because we live in a historic district in downtown Columbia, SC. The entire team at Archadeck worked hard to make sure that we had a project that not only we were happy with, but that the city was happy with, too. It took awhile for us all to agree on what the project would look like. I was amazed at how patient Archadeck was as my husband and I went back and forth trying to figure out what we really wanted. My husband is a fairly skilled carpenter and we wondered how Archadeck would respond to his ideas, suggestions, etc. The communication was better than either one of us expected. It really felt like we were in partnership together on this project. Here's just one example. The porch sits on a number of posts that were to be wrapped in brick. Lowell (our project manager) wasn't content to just use a standard color brick. He was determined to find a brick that would be a close match to our brick house--bricks that were made in 1923! Every morning when I sit out on the porch with my morning coffee, I am amazed that we have this beautiful screened porch. It is both beautiful and functional!”

“A big thanks to Chris and his people for helping get this done. I had been needing room-darkening shades/blinds for sometime. Being a new house I had hesitated doing any kind of upgrade / improvements. As a shift worker it was getting more and more difficult to get rest during the day with the standard wooden blinds allowing so much daylight into the bedroom. After contemplating whether to tackle the job myself with something from a "big-box / home improvement store", I looked further. I had found an advertisement for Budget Blinds in a local area / community type calendar and made the call. The appointment for the initial consultation was easy to make. After a schedule change I needed to move the appointment later in the day and Chris was very accommodating to that need. I described what I needed and what I was looking for and the suggestion was made for cellular blinds. Chris measured, I picked the color best suited for the room and the deal was just about done. I had changed my mind on one thing with removing the wooden blinds. For some reason I thought it would be better to leave the wooden blinds up and have the new cellular blinds place in front of them. After talking myself out of that decision, Chris assured me that the outside view was neutral and HOA compliant. I called Chris with my change and he returned to do a remeasurement. We agreed on price, time-line and we were on our way. 2 weeks passed just as I was told in the time approximation. We made an appointment for the install. The installer showed up on time, professionally dress with tools in hand. I went to the other room to do some computer work and after an hour and a half tops, the room was adequately darkened. So much better, so easy and no hassles trying to do it right on my own. It's dark enough now at noon to where I need to turn on a lamp if I get up. A great decision made. There will be more work in the future at my home for Chris, his people and Budget Blinds. Very much interested in a covering for the kitchen sliding glass doors. Thank you again to Chris and all involved. The hesitation to hire was also eased knowing this local branch of Budget Blinds is a veteran owned business. Being a veteran myself, I appreciate all that they do.”

An example of that is when there were a few bumps in the road (Distributor issues) I was constantly communicated with, and Steve was on top of the situation (though no fault of his own). He got the matters resolved promptly and was constantly concerned about my customer satisfaction. I've been in business many years and I was very impressed with Steven and his staff. They were also personally involved with the success of the project, But it is not just my project. I could tell when we had difficult weather his concern for other clients as well and their projects. But he was positive, he was proactive, and he viewed the project as if it was his own pool, what you want from any service provider. So, I cannot say enough about Serenity Pools and Steve Cunningham and staffs. Very happy and a really great experience especially in a day and age where customer service seems to be on the endangered list. It is refreshing to find a company who not only lives up to but actually exceeds the standard.”
