John and his team worked with me on a vision for the space, drew up the plans and then installed quickly on exactly the date they said they would start. The wow! factor is the high quality materials Krugel uses which are beautiful and you know will last. The icing on the cake is how quickly they responded to a few small requests I had a few weeks after the job was done. With Krugel you get excellent, professional service, but even more importantly a hard scape area that is is truly beautiful and exceeds expectations.”

“Kornel and Kyle built a custom kitchen and a gorgeous fireplace mantel for us. They were very professional, and took great care to understand exactly what we wanted. They put together a quote and mock up of the kitchen that was very detailed. We were able to see exactly what we were getting and make tweaks to the design during the process. They are very creative and had some great design recommendations as well. They delivered our kitchen on time and even came back to make sure everything was installed perfectly (I would recommend you have them install because they are perfectionists). We are so happy with the end result and with how smoothly the process went. We highly recommend these guys and would definitely use them again!”

“We could not have asked for a better contractor than Hughes Carpentry. We really appreciated the professional, detail oriented, punctual service. The process of remodeling can be stressful and overwhelming (especially when you are doing several rooms), but with Hughes Carpentry they really broke it down into manageable steps that made the process enjoyable and the end result fabulous! When I was having difficulty finding kitchen cabinets that I liked, I showed Benjamin a picture from a magazine to help him understand the style I was trying to achieve. He was able to not only understand the concept but build the cabinets matching the style perfectly- in the wood, design and finish we wanted. Everyone who sees our kitchen has said how blown away they are by the results (for us it is a dream come true!) In an age where professionalism and integrity are often difficult to find in contractors, Hughes Carpentry showed us that they do indeed exist. Our job was completed beyond our expectations with a clean up at the site each day. Who could ask for any more than that?”

“After researching and meeting with quite a few contractors, we went with FB Construction, and I'm so happy we did. They were the perfect mix of professional and personal, and I feel like I was working with family in the best way possible. As this was our first experience in home renovation, I was ready for some minor disasters. There were none. “Our garden club hired General Masonry Inc.to replace a stone pillar that was leaning due to problems with the foundation. They took the pillar down, cleaned and re-used the stones, created a new foundation and rebuilt the pillar. It looks great. I was especially impressed with the company and how they worked with the village of Wilmette. Often, obtaining permits and follow up electrical work, which was the village's responsibility, takes time. General Masonry Inc. was on top of the communication among all the involved parties and our pillar had electricity within a few days of its completion. I highly recommend them for your next masonry project.”
