“I am an architect and am building my personal house which is contemporary style. It is hard to find a stair & railing contractor who has great taste and at the same time knows how to get the most out of any budget. Dave was recommended to me by several builders. He has proven to be reliable, conscientious, courteous, and a perfectionist. He showed up for the job on time and did outstanding work. And above all, you can trust him. We will call on him again without hesitation.”

“The first time I worked with Century Stair Company was back in June 2010. I was working on a project with a very challenging stair layout, with multiple transitions from radius to straight. The previous company I was working with was clueless on how to build this type of stair. I contacted Century Stair and they worked with me on the design of the stair system and helped with a plan of installing the stair and balcony section so everything would come together properly. Ever since that first job and seeing first hand what Century Stair could do for me, I've been sold on their product. Their custom abilities are amazing and everyone there has been great to work with. “We had a 5-star experience with District Cabinetry (also known as District Custom Woodworks)! It started with the careful and thoughtful consideration of our needs and preferences in discussions with owner Benton Chrea. He asked great questions and listened carefully to our answers! He came up with a preliminary design that we modified with his help into its final form. We were so pleased in the planning stage for the initial project caused us to add 2 other projects for other rooms. In the end, he did a huge built-in for the study, another large one for the master bedroom, and transformed a very complicated master closet footprint into a design that maximized every bit of space available. He personally visited the house twice to ensure good measurements and to be sure that we all visualized the same end product. Benton will tell you that I have a lot of construction experience (as a developer and builder), and I quizzed him on technical details of the design that he was unused to from customers. Let us just say that we were at the same time discriminating and exacting and he had excellent answers to all of my concerns. The project was finished on time (actually, a little earlier than originally planned) and was finished exactly on budget. Frankly, in the beginning, I thought the proposed charges were kind of high, but we had seen some of his work and his showroom and had developed faith in him, his product and team. The final product is beautiful, met all our design and quality goals, and is clearly engineered and manufactured down to the millimeter. His installation team was fantastic! They spent the better part of 3 days installing and tweaking everything, making sure we understood how to take out the drawers (a little tricky, as they are fancy, really nice, European hardware), etc. The installers were friendly, careful, respectful of our home and were clearly focused on achieving a quality result and pleasing us. So, in the end, my concerns over price were entirely unfounded, because the time invested in creating the design, the quality of the actual product and the care and professionalism of the installers proved to me that my wife was right – we really should pick District Cabinetry for our project! We unhesitatingly endorse Benton and District Cabinetry! We love and use our 3 built-ins every day and appreciate their work (and our investment) every time we use it! We just finished building a pretty complex home and this vendor is at the top of our list in every respect. Our biggest regret in our new home is that we had to buy our kitchen from our builder, Toll Brothers. We would have much preferred to spend that budget at District Cabinetry to get a unique and custom kitchen adapted precisely to our tastes and needs, where our smaller projects tell us that they would have excelled! Please don’t think that I am a gushing kind of person. Neither of us are. We are simply that pleased! This is easily some of the best money we ever spent on any of our homes! If we can refer District Cabinetry to anyone, we will certainly do so. If we can use them again, we would not hesitate. In today’s world, getting what you paid for is a challenge. We got what we paid for in product and in service and could not be happier about it! PS I attach photos of the study built-in. It is hard to photograph the other ones, given their location.”

“We had a sunroom project a couple of years ago. We didn’t have any issues with the previous company, but it was time to replace it since it became a traditional space for us. We went with Dream Outdoor Solution because of their affordable prices, free designs, and quote. Our new sunroom makes us feel like we step outside without getting outside! All insects have to find a new way to enter our space!”
Michael Nash Design, Build & Homes

“My wife and I selected Michael Nash from among five separate bids for a considerable renovation and expansion of our home. Michael Nash was the second lowest bidder, but our confidence in Sonny Nazemin’s eye for design and considerable number of award-winning designs was crucial in our initial selection. We have a grand house in Reston built in the late 1960s. It has solid bones but really needed a whole house renovation. We also needed more space to house our extended family. Our project consisted of a new two-car garage, siding, roofing and a totally new floor consisting of a master suite and bathroom. From the start of the project I was impressed with the one price upfront to complete the project. Sonny navigated our plans through the difficult process of approval by our local Design Review Board. His personal attention and negotiation with the board led to the rapid approval of our project. Follow on work for our front porch and driveway was reasonably priced. When we requested a re-design of the ceilings for the master suite, Sonny spared no expense hiring several architects to arrive at the design we desired. His vision throughout the project ensured its success. ******************* EXTRA FOLLOW-ON WORK COMPLETED jANUARY 25, 2014 *********************** We gave Michael Nash extra follow-on work with our kitchen because we were so pleased with how our Master Suite and other work turned out. We told Sonny that we had a limited budget but wanted to get as much of the kitchen done as possible. He suggested that we keep our old cabinets and redo everything else. Sonny has a great eye for design and suggested that we take out some cabinets to open up the room. He helped us with color choices that made the kitchen modern and bright. They replaced the oven, the hood, the induction cooktop, the counter, the floor, the sink, repaired and replaced doors, painted the room and put in a new lighting system with ten canned lights. Michael Nash kept to a timetable except for the hood at the end, which was really unavoidable. We are thrilled with our new kitchen and recommend Michael Nash to our neighbors and friends.”

“WE contacted Steadfast for an estimate on a sunroom. Contact both by phone and in person for the estimate was friendly and professional. Josh came to the house to provide the estimate. He was knowledgeable and able to provide suggestions while still staying true to our original thoughts of what we wanted. We have temporarily delayed this project but will definitely contact Steadfast again when we are ready to move forward. Their estimate was fair and and included discounts for contacting them through Angie's list .”

“We hired CM Hardscape last year for a patio project, and are more than thrilled with the end result. The owner, Bill, was wonderful to work with, and helped us visualize what would look best in our yard. The entire process was seamless, and we will be hiring them again for future projects we have planned.”

“We had reached out to Raymond for a quote and some ideas on the best options for our deck. Raymond was very professional and came to our house to assess our options and provide some ideas on what he thought might align best with our design goals. Raymond was able to provide us valuable information to make an informed decision. The work was completed as promised, on time and within budget. I would proudly recommend Raymond for consideration of other's projects and would not hesitate to call him again for projects we have in mind.”

“Hakan was the project manager for our renovation. Each detail was explained thoroughly. I interviewed several home improvement companies in the northern Virginia area; none matched the knowledge of product information and costs of construction for completely renovating my kitchen. Architectural renditions were exact to specifications;no last-minute changes had to be made. Prior to the beginning of the renovation, costs and date of completion was discussed along with a time line dedicated to the selection of cabinets, floor, tiles, lighting fixtures etc. The crew assigned to my project were courteous, quick, clean and put materials away each day. I never had to worry about the rest of the house being a dust bowl or cleaning up foot prints. I would highly recommend Bull Run Kitchen and Bath.”
