Marcia Philipp is amazing! We have worked with her on various projects throughout our home since 2001 and have never been disappointed. She listens to you to capture what you are looking for and then makes it better than you ever imagined. She will work with your existing pieces and works within your budget. She has a keen eye and pulls everything together. And she is the master at picking out the perfect paint colors!! She is also very patient with us, as it often takes awhile for us to make a decision. With Marcia, there is never any pressure whatsoever. Marcia is a true professional and we have come to rely on her expertise for almost any home project. She is always reliable and very fun to work with as well. I would wholeheartedly recommend Marcia Philipp to anyone!!

Marcia helped me with the remodel of my master suite, both the bathroom and bedroom. I did have some ideas in mind but she provided me with the assistance I needed, especially when it came to picking out materials for the renovation. Marcia also provided suggestions along the way which I greatly appreciated, and they definitely added to the finished product! I would use Marcia again and would refer her to anyone looking to remodel their home.

This is the 2nd home I have hired Marcia to help me decorate. She has assisted me with many difficult new construction decisions from tile selection to wall covering and window treatments, and of course selecting just the right pieces of furniture. She has a great eye for coordinating color schemes and an incredible ability to make everything flow beautifully!

My husband and I were referred to Marcia when we moved to the area one and a half years ago. Our newly purchased 15 year-old house was in desperate need of updating from top to bottom. We met with Marsha, told her our budget, and showed her some designs that we had found online. The results were even better than we could have imagined. Marcia worked tirelessly to transform our family room and kitchen into a warm and inviting space that perfectly reflected our vision. She has an impressive eye for color and helped us pick out colors for both the inside and the outside of our house. Thanks to Marcia's hard work, our house is a perfect reflection of who we are and, most of importantly, we love it!

Marcia has been helping us make our small lakeside cottage "live large" while creating a beautiful and peaceful place. Her creative eye is remarkable and Marcia deftly takes input to come up with a fabulous solution. Marcia finds ways to put my own treasures and antiques to excellent use--while recommending perfect additions: a new sectional, an area rug, custom shutters and patio furniture. Marcia is great fun to work with, highly dependable and transparent on price and delivery dates. The first project is complete and we are continuing on to the rest of the cottage!

With some decorators all creations look alike; not so with Marcia. With Marcia, each is distinctive, original and creative. She listens intently to her client and incorporates the client's taste and desires. She is accommodating and pleasing to work with. Marcia has impeccable taste and arranges items artistically and in a most eye appealing manner. She knows how to work within a budget. She integrates items you already own. We have worked with Marcia on numerous projects in our home over the years, from redecorating to minor reconstruction, and have always been pleased with the results. Marcia has assisted me with several projects at my home over the past 12 years and I have always been extremely pleased with each and every project. We started with a plan to decorate a new family room addition which included new furnishings and a makeover of our front foyer. She created a warm space and used some of the pieces I already owned and loved and added beautiful upholstered pieces and many fun accent pieces as well. We more recently worked together on a major kitchen remodeling and she helped bring my late 70s colonial into the 21st century with great style. Paint selection done by Marcia is perhaps my favorite aspect of her talent. She has by now chosen all of the colors in the entire downstairs of my home and she even selected the color of my front door. I have purchased blinds, draperies, and some wallpaper from her as well, all of which have been perfect for my home. Marcia has become a good friend and the only person I would ever go to for help with decorating. She is a true professional and a real pleasure to work with, especially for a hesitant shopper like myself.

I met Marcia 20 + years ago. Marcia has helped me redecorate 5 homes, all of which when I went to sell they sold in no time. I met Marcia when I was decorating a home under construction that we purchased in Syracuse, New York. I was impressed with her keen eye for color and detail, she has a special gift, the rooms seem to flow so beautifully, one room into the other. I continued to seek out Marcia's assistance even after we relocated to another area. I sent her pictures of my new home and she was able to work her magic from afar. To this day I consult Marcia on any changes to my home, she has become a dear friend.

Beginning with a single color swatch that I chose from her selection, Marcia coordinated a total interior makeover of our home that we are delighted with. Floors, kitchen, family room, dining room and bathroom are totally updated and modern. What I most appreciated was her ability to respond to our taste while pushing us to consider options that we did not initially think of. So, for example, all the interior woodstain was painted and a dated railing between kitchen and family room removed. Her suggestions always turned out to be the right decision. The furniture, paint colors, wallpaper, drapes and accessories are beautiful, tasteful and timeless. Marcia is highly professional, has excellent taste and a terrific knack for arranging the contents of a home! We continue to work with her when we need occasional pieces and would highly recommend her services.

After I moved into my new home, I hired Marcia to help me furnish the great room. Marcia understands the needs/wants of her clients and knows what will please them.
