About Us

Land Creations Landscaping is an award winning landscape design / build firm that specializes in creating outdoor living spaces. Land Creations was founded in 1991 by Jeff Rak. Jeff is a 1989 graduate of Ohio State University / Agricultural Technical Institute with a degree in Landscape Contracting. We service residential, as well as commercial clients and offer complete landscape services.

Wow!!! Jeff and his crew transformed my 86 year old backyard space to not only be amazing, but creatively blend into the historical integrity of my home. I have to say he exceeded my expectations!! It looks like it was part of the original design. He and his crew were not only very pleasant to have on my property, but extremely polite, and respectful not to damage the existing vegatation, or brickwork. And, the decisions that they made on the spot, were right in line with my vision! I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Jeff and his company to anyone, who wants to improve their living space, with not only beauty and functionality, but creativity as well!! As a matter of fact, I'm currently pondering what else we can do to maximize the space : ) Jeff's services are not the cheapest, but you definitely get your money's worth! He's going to do it right, and until you are completely satisfied and happy.

In 2014 we hired Land Creations to replace our wooden deck with a large multilevel stone patio and new landscaping around our house. They did a phenomenal job and even installed a custom natural gas fire pit which looked outstanding. The president - Jeff Rak, was on the job consistently and his team was terrific to work with. This summer we had some unfortunate settling on part of the patio, and Jeff Rak was quick to send out some highly skilled guys who made it look perfect. I couldn't be more pleased with Land Creations and would highly recommend them.

My husband and I met Jeff at a Home Remodeling Show at the IX Center in Cleveland; I came home that day and left a message on their website to contact me. Jeff contacted me right away and met with us to draw up some plans for a pergola and stonework. We like the fact that it's a plan that we can add to every year; we didn't have to do it all at once. He and his team were wonderful to work with; the pergola is beautiful and is a great enhancement to our house. We are looking forward to some warmer weather so that we can enjoy it every day!! We would highly recommend this company.

We looked at different landscape companies and wanted to make sure we picked a landscaper who could not only design a patio that looks as nice as the ones you see in Unilock’s catalog but priced within a budget we could afford. We decided on having Land Creations Landscaping do our patio and we certainly made the right decision. Jeff, the President of Land Creations Landscaping Inc along with his crew made our dream become a reality. They are very professional, punctual and the quality of work is excellent. You won't go wrong having Land Creations make your vision happen.

I moved into a new construction home in disparate need of landscaping, including fencing. I did not realize the slope of the yard would make fencing options that are attractive to me very limited. I discussed options with another landscape professional who recommended a very typical stair stepped fencing design. Land Creations had landscaped my yard in a previous home and done a wonderful job. I was reluctant to contact them, however, since my new home was nearly an hour away from their office. I decided to call them and the owner Jeff was more than willing to work with me. He designed an incredible, artistic fence that flows down my yard gracefully. The accompanying landscape design is the perfect combination of plants. The Land Creations employees were always on-time, professional and extremely hard working. Jeff and his crew have transformed by challenging yard into a wonderful place of relaxation that I truly enjoy spending time.

We have had Land Creations do three separate jobs for us. Besides doing excellent work, the reason we go back to them is they listen to us. They make good suggestion and excellent advice to get us just what we want. They also are good about follow ups such as care for plants, maintenance and answering questions later down the road.

I give Jeff and his team the highest marks I can because of his attention to detail and professionalism in completing the project. He was prompt curteous and paid attention to the closest details. As with several projects there were several details that were changed, up-graded or modified as the job progressed. He was flexible in those requests to make sure I was satisfied with the work. The job was not inexpensive but still of great value in so much as I didn't have the time, expertise nor manpower to complete the work. We had the work completed in the fall with the anticipation of a family wedding next summer and cannot wait to use our 'new' outdoor space once the weather breaks.

I have hired Land Creations Landscaping for projects from the complex landscape design & implementation to the basic Spring & Fall cleanup. Their crews have always done thorough and professional job no matter what the task. The best recommendation I can offer is that for 10+ years I continue to come back to them for my outside work.
