The Studio Foram Vora Design Studio (FVDS) is a multi- disciplinary design practice in Mumbai started in Mumbai in 2016. We follow a very flexible and adaptive approach to design as per the client’s needs, which makes the whole design process dynamic and helps us in creating timeless, multi-functional and utilitarian spaces. We work very closely with our clients to develop design concepts, which are unique and tangible. As a practice, we follow a meticulous research driven design process to come up with spaces that are contextual, functional and sensitive. Our high level of engagement with the project ensures good quality designs and efficient execution, which inspires the end user. The studio is involved in projects of multiple scales from interiors, architecture, planning to urban design. Foram Vora Founder and Principal Architect & Urban Designer of Foram Vora Design Studio. Foram Vora has a Bachelor of Architecture from Kamla Raheja Vidhyanidhi Institute for Architecture (KRVIA), Mumbai in 2007 and Master of Architecture in Urban Design from CEPT University, Ahmedabad in 2011. She is a registered architect in India and a member of Council of Architecture. Before starting her own practice, she interned and worked with Ranjit Sinh & Associates (2006-2009) and P.K.Das & Associates (2012-2015) where she has designed and executed multiple projects of varied scale and nature- residential, commercial and retail. She has also been a Visiting faculty, Kamla Raheja Vidhyanidhi Institute for Architecture, Mumbai for Urban `Design Studio, 1st year, M.Arch. ) Aug 2011 – Oct 2011) She has also won a Certificate of Participation as a Speaker at Frontiers in Urban Design 4th National Urban Design Education Colloquium 2012 and SIR PATRICK GEDDES AWARD for the Best Graduating Student in Urban Design for Overall Performance (all 2 years) for the academic year 2009-2011 and VASTUSHILPA FOUNDATION AWARD for the Best Graduating Student – Highest Score in Studio Design (all 2 years) for the academic year 2009-2011.
