Vicki does an amazing job! This is the 2nd time I have worked with her. She has incredible design and space expertise. Every detail is thought out, and she is sensitive to my budget. I am a real estate agent and I see a lot of high end homes. I compare styles and finishes and find Vicki is always in front of the design trends.

It was an absolute joy to work with Vicki and her team. Not only was she easy to work with, but all of her subcontractors and vendors were equally professional and responsive. Vicki helped us choose the design and materials for furniture, lighting, and window covering in 3 rooms and an outdoor living area. Perhaps the most exciting project was a complete remodel of a large shelving unit/cabinet in our foyer. Vicki custom-designed a new unit with laser cut/LED lighted doors with hidden storage. Additionally, she helped us to highlight the shelves with mutually chosen ceramic, metal, and glass art pieces. We continue to enjoy our living space thanks to Vicki Blakeman Interior Design!

Choosing Vicki as our designer is one of the best decisions and investments we have ever made! Vicki’s attention to detail, meticulousness, and standard of excellence was evident from the start and was present throughout the entire process. Her passion for designing is palpable! What a fun experience to design a house so unique and customized to exactly what we wanted! We'd never used a designer, but fell in love with Vicki's website which demonstrated a unique style combining contemporary color play while maintaining, simple, modern and timeless elegance. Her photo galleries showed so many amazing transformations of rooms and homes; all of which we found vibrant and unique! We were looking for someone who could understand our vision without needing to be coached. When we met, we were so comfortable and so impressed, we hired her right on the spot; without hesitation. Good decision! Vicki gave us a home that is totally unique AND totally us. She listened to what we wanted, added her expert ideas, and came up with magic. She designed and furnished our empty living room, dining room, entryway, hallway and powder bath from scratch and they are amazing! She also enhanced our family room and master bedroom where she worked with what we already had to complete it in a way that was equally complimentary to the other rooms she designed. By adding great art, accessories, and a few furniture pieces, she transformed them and made us really happy. We even added recessed lighting into our art niches and changed our lighting to LED throughout the entire house in an effort to enhance the lighting of the wall art, furniture art and décor. What a difference the lighting made; something we would have never considered without Vicki’s guidance. The most rewarding part is when people come to our house and are in love with the unique modern and contemporary mesh while at the same time reflecting our culture. The “Wow!” factor we were going for was accomplished and the reaction from family and friends affirms that every time! After our new baby comes, we will definitely want to work with Vicki again.

This is the second time we have used Vicki and we love what she has done with our home. Vicki's vision of the whole space and seeing the big picture is second to none. Our second project was done with Vicki remotely and we were unsure of how it was going to work but with her attention to detail it became another success story. We really like her ability to make everything flow-the colors, textures, material, furniture and decor. Wow! And the furnishings she picks out -always unique and of the highest quality! In doing my research online I came across Vicki Blakeman’s website www.BlakemanInteriors.com and I was so impressed with her designs that I had to reach out. We made arrangements to speak over the phone and immediately made me feel so confortable that I knew that I wanted to hire her as my interior designer for a new home that I purchased. A couple of things that made this partnership very unique was that I felt so confortable with her expertise and knowledge that I gave her complete creative control and she could do the entire project remotely. Vicki was amazing about updating me on the status and keeping me informed and consulted with me when needed. The project was on time and on budget and it lasted four months, she helped with everything from lighting, paint colors to artwork selections and fabric choices. I can’t begin express my sincere gratitude to Vicki for everything that she did for me on this project, she put her heart & soul into everything and she leveraged her many years of expertise in created wonderful designs, what she gave me was a home that I will enjoy for many years to come. Being remote Vicki coordinated everything from having people measure and document to having the electrician install lighting to the installers etc. As far as the final results… Let me just say that I couldn’t have imagined in a million years that I would be able live in such a beautiful home that Vicki helped create for me. Our experience with Vicki Blakeman exceeded our expectations on many levels. She gave our home a sophisticated, elegant feeling that is quite inviting. The paint, fabrics, lighting and art that she selected all give our home a stylish comfort that we love. We also appreciated her committment to quality and customer service. After an art installation, one of the pieces did not appeal to us and she promptly addressed our dissatisfaction by replacing the image. An expensive chair fabric also had some durability issues and when the manufactures rep could not solve the problem, Vicki Blakeman personally paid for the fabric to be replaced and installed on the chair. Interior Design is expensive and we found Vicki's ability to spend our budget on items that really make our home "pop" a good investment. She selected things that are appropriate for our lifesyle and we feel confident that our home will market well in the future. Finding a good Interior Designer is not an easy task. I have worked with Vicki for years as her cabinet maker. she always designs with a flair to be different from what you see everyday. her projects are rewarding to me in that i can take pride in the finished product being more cutting edge than most other projects. Vicki has always been professional in dealing with her clients and suppliers alike. I never hesitate to embrace new projects from her and highly respect her knowledge and vision for the finished product.

II have had opportunities to work with Vicki Blakeman on many different homes. I was so pleased with our first project, that I hired Vicki to help me every time I changed residences, which has happened five times spanning the last 30 years. Whether the projects were large or small (and the first one was very small), Vicki put everything she had into each venture and cared absolutely --about me and about my family's needs. She is always respectful of my ideas, yet also honest about telling me if it would be better to consider another direction and/or choice. The end products have been a consistent good mix of my taste with her expert and diverse capacities, which has always resulted in a truly beautiful and comfortable home. We hired Vicki to design our living room, which was a difficult room to work with. All four walls had either a large fireplace, sliding glass door, or a large entry to another room. We also had to fit a baby grand piano in this same room. Vicki was very creative in coming up with furniture placement, and even extending some of the walls so furniture placement would not look awkward. Our room that was country rustic was transformed into a contemporary, sophisticated, and comfortable living area that we used every day. We then hired her to design our master bedroom to give the room a contemporary elegance while maintaining coziness. Vicki was very keen on understanding our style, simply by speaking with my husband and I and having us look through photos to see what we liked and disliked. She has so much experience and thinks of all the details so each project is completed successfully and, most importantly, based on the client's tastes and preferences. We have since moved to another home and rented the one Vicki helped designed. We were able to move most of the furnishings and reworked the drapes for the new home, which also looks very put together. I would recommend Vicki to tackle any design project and look forward to working with her again.
