Lillian gives her clients undivided attention to achieve a life-style understanding, and helping them resolve their ideas into warm, beautiful spaces that express the best of life. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (a FIDER accredited university) with a Bachelors of Fine Art in Interior Design. She passed the NCIDQ exam in 1992 and is a professional member of ASID. She began working life as an exhibit designer in Connecticut. Then acquired her own business,Decorative Interiors, in 1989, and opened High Country Furnishings in 2006. Personally attending the home and accessory markets, she brings back the latest in trends for her clients. Vermont is warm and welcoming without sentimentality, traditional without formality, and Lillian’s philosophy of interior decoration has developed over time as an expression of this special place. Lillian has created homes from Stratton Mountain to San Francisco, California, from Manchester, Vermont to Hilton Head, South Carolina (and points in between). In every instance, her work emphasizes the quality and craftsmanship that can only mean Vermont.
