My husband and I contracted with Bethanis Homes after a plumbing disaster forced us to gut the largest bathroom in our 1928 home in La Canada. The owner, Mark Bethanis, is extremely knowledgeable, well priced and personable. He was patient and a calming influence always. An excellent communicator, Mark was never more than a phone call away or text message away. He worked closely with his crew and was on the job site often. There was the amazing bonus of Mark's great eye for detail and design. He suggested changes that made for a better layout, and provided us with invaluable design advice - turning what would have been a pretty period bath into something stunning that we absolutely love! We have had extensive work done over the years to update and preserve our historic home, but we have never had a project of this magnitude run so smoothly, or worked with such an artful and detailed-oriented contractor as Mark. It was such a pleasure and privilege to work with Mark and his wonderful crew who were courteous, trustworthy and incredibly neat on-site. We have decided to give our kitchen a face-lift and are looking forward to working with Mark and his team of talented tradesmen again!

We just completed a nearly 5-month remodel with Mark Bethanis/Bethanis Homes, Inc. in the Burbank/Toluca Lake area to update a charming 1940’s bungalow: completely new kitchen, addition of two full baths (to replace one existing bath) with tile and stone, re-location of a hallway for better flow, new air/heat, electrical, plumbing (2 tankless water heaters). We are a working couple with demanding careers and not a lot of time; Mark adeptly directed our focus to the priorities for decision-making in order to stay within our time frame (and our budget). Mark’s astute sense of design, attention to detail, knowledge of what’s current, list of great resources, helpful suggestions and the first-rate crew of work professionals he brought to the site - - who are also very knowledgeable, easy to work with, reliable and care that the work is done right - - made an initially daunting experience a very pleasant one. We are thrilled with the end result! And for these reasons, we highly recommend Mark and his crew for your next construction/remodel job.

We contracted with Bethanis Homes for a complete remodel of our 3,000 sq. ft. 1940’s home. Owner, Mark Bethanis, carefully planned the remodel to be done in three stages back-to-back, which allowed us to live in the home during the last two stages. Mark is highly creative and was able to bring innovative solutions to a couple of major design challenges in our kitchen/family room area. Mark gives attention to small design details that culminate in an extra special home! This was our first time working with Mark (but not the last) and while we hoped for the quality he was known for, we still found ourselves surprised by his careful oversight of every aspect of the job. Excellent communication was important to us and Mark was very easy to get in contact with, promptly returning all of our phone calls, texts and emails. We have remodeled several homes over the past 30 years and working with Mark has been our best experience by far, exceeding our expectations. On a final note, we found Mark to be a man of high integrity.

Mark Bethanis, with his crew and subcontractors, remodeled the main bathroom in my 1920's home in Pasadena. They did a terrific job! Mark has great experience remodeling older homes to maintain their character, which is what I wanted. He suggestion a much better layout for the bath that makes it seem bigger. He and his team were very enthusiastic about the project and it showed in their attention to detail and their patience with the long delay in getting the tile. I highly recommend Mark and his team! They were extremely professional and honest and I am totally thrilled with the results.
