We couldn't be happier with the result of our second story/remodeling project! Stephanie with XID design&build is an amazing architect with incredible taste in design that went above and beyond to make the process smooth and flawless. She was able to work within square footage limitations (from the city) and our existing floor plan and still deliver our dream house. She optimized every inch of the house and had amazing ideas and input to optimize the layout and design. When it was time to pick the finished material (which was my favorite part I have to admit) Stephanie helped us tremendously! The choice of tiles, bathroom vanities and fixtures, hardwood floor... can be very overwhelming (even when you are the kind of person that knows what you want). Stephanie presented us with different choices for each bathrooms (we have 4) which helped us narrow down the options while staying within our budget. Not only Stephanie has the knowledge and inherent taste that makes her a great architect/designer; working with her has been such a pleasure thanks to her positive and enthusiastic personality. We highly recommend her!

Stephanie guided us from the very beginning stages, suggesting plans that would work in our narrow lot. She is very detailed oriented and has really great ideas. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great architect.
