Winchester Homebuilders

We have unfortunately have had a lot of issues since we bought our new home a little over a month ago in Covington. Just keep in mind, they don't keep their word and once you close you're on your own. It pains me to write a bad review given we just bought this house but I think other home buyers should know the truth. They were supposed to fix a ton of nail holes in our molding before closing. They did not do it in time and promised it would be done shortly after closing. The day we moved in - we walked in and the downstairs was covered in drywall mud. They didn't bother to clean it up. So they puddied at least, but we have tried a million times to get them to come paint the molding and they haven't. They likely won't at this point so THANKS A LOT WINCHESTER. They also lost our mail key and beat around the bush with us for over 2 weeks. I ordered some expensive prenatals that cost over $100 - I told them this and they never really did anything to get us our keys and my vitamins melted in the heat. I finally gave up and went to the post office to get a key cut - it cost us $26 dollars. They said they would pay for it but of course, nothing. Now let's talk about the even more fishy stuff. After we bought our house - they marked that we closed on zillow at $500K. That's a big negative - it was $324K. Overall it's been rough and we are very concerned to deal with them on warranties and what not. Who knows what will ever get fixed or not going forward.

After months of researching builders in Augusta, I decided on Winchester Homebuilders. I am so happy I chose them. Buying a home can be very stressful, but Winchester and their agent, Chris Huffman made the process a breeze! Highly recommend! They went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations.
