Slow Flowers is the name of a book, a weekly podcast and a free online directory to support American flowers and the people who grow and design with them. Created by Debra Prinzing, the Slow Flowers Movement educates and advocates for local, seasonal and sustainable flowers, flower farming and floral design. The Slow Flowers Journal appears monthly in the print edition of Florists' Review and online at slowflowersjournal.com. Slow Flowers LLC also produces American Flowers Week (June 28-July 4) and the Slow Flowers Summit conference for florists.
