Private Gardens, Public Places has done all of my annual garden plantings and pots for over 20 years. When I moved into my house 21 years ago they implemented a major landscaping project which has continued to be more beautiful every year. My pots have been lovely and unusual. I have several Master Gardener friends who note the uniqueness of the arrangements. Many times people walking by the house stop to comment. Lily was a key factor in this success. Not only is she very creative but also a hard worker. All of her assistants have been a pleasure to have around.

My sweetheart and I moved in to a little apartment that had a tiny side yard that was sheltered but in really rough shape. We wanted a place where we could sit outside with our dog and sip on a glass of wine, have a friend or two over, and feel like we were in our own little oasis. Enter Lily Mueller-Marcus. Lily was incredibly passionate and professional, she presented us with 3 different ideas for our little space with variations on each. We decided on a sort of shabby chic look with muted colors and LOTS of green. Lily had so many fun and easy ideas on how we could transform our deck and little yard. I was even able to do some DIY projects with her which was fun because it made me feel more a part of the project. The end result was more than we could have ever imagined or hoped for. What was once a run down, brown, dry, side yard was now a green, vibrant, cozy and lush outdoor living space that has served us well as an entertaining area and a place to relax after work. I would highly recommend Lily. She has such an incredible knowledge of plants and really listens to her clients needs and wants. Her sense of design is off the charts and she is an absolute joy to work with. Thank you Lily! We love our "happy place".
