Glenda Meads is a professional architect who designed the remodel of our 1937-vintage home. The project included the removal of two load-bearing walls, a total kitchen remodel and expansion, redesign of the front facade of the house, and several other smaller needed rearangments. She is a thoughtful and precise communicator, taking the clients needs into consideration, but also providing excellent input and creativity. She provided a lengthy list of referrals, including "before and after" photos. Her references were impeccable. She also has provided periodic on-site checks, consulting with the general contractor and the kitchen designer. As a team, they communicate extremely well, never leaving us "in the dark" about progress. She has also been honest about "things that won't work," or don't fit the style of the home. Her cost is reasonable for such a large project and her organization is professional and courteous. The other contractors and trades people also seem to like and respect her very much.
