After several interviews and evaluations, we went with a company introduced to us with a strong recommendation – Chelsea Design+Construction. It was the best decision we made. Chelsea completed gutted and restored our condominium kitchen. Our high expectations were all met. Our project manager was always available and a strong communicator. Chelsea’s tradespeople were highly professional, organized, and talented in their respective crafts. My husband and I hired Chelsea to remodel our home. My husband works in the commercial construction industry and was very specific with what he was looking for in a residential contractor. We ultimately chose Chelsea because of their superior quality and ease of communication. The final result is outstanding. We have a beautiful home that is our dream come true. I hired Chelsea to build an addition to my home as well as miscellaneous upgrades throughout the house. Their final product is spectacular. Their attention to detail is fantastic and they provided good counsel along the way when issues or questions came up, as they inevitably do. Much of the work was performed by tradespeople who are on staff, and those items that were subbed out to others were done by excellent subcontractors. I couldn’t be happier with the project overall.

Chelsea did a complete remodel of my condo, including kitchen, bathrooms, and replacing all windows, doors and flooring. The project included extensive redesign and custom cabinetry. The team was professional, experienced and responsive. The owner, Mark Snashall has an excellent eye for detail and is creative in solving unanticipated challenges. Chelsea Design + Construction has completed numerous projects at my home, incluing a backyard renovation including a pergola, deck, staircase, all electrical and lighting, plumbing installation and repair, among other projects. The work was very professional and high quality and the attention to detail was excellent. Staff and owner are very easy to work with and very responsive. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have remodeled 5 kitchens in 5 different homes over 40 years, with varying budgets (mostly big), and our recent experience with Chelsea was by far the best. Owner Mark Snashall came to discuss our project within 24 hours of our first phone call. We told him we really needed the kitchen done before Christmas (a little over 4 months), even though the scope of work was large. He said his team could do it, and they did: we were using our beautiful new kitchen by about December 15. This 'can-do' attitude prevailed throughout. The firm handled change orders smoothly, and its billing was accurate. (All this contrasts to the service we got from the design team of the design / build firm that Chelsea replaced.) There was very little 'down time.' In fact, a couple of times the Chelsea team put in hours beyond the normal workday/week in order to deliver on schedule. The foreman / supervisor, Jorge Ponce, had good ideas, was focused on details as well as the big picture, kept in regular communication, and was an all-around pleasure. Everyone on their team was polite and attentive to things like security and cleanliness. The quality of Chelsea's work --both theirs and the work of the subs they supervised -- was excellent. And by the way, Chelsea's bid was lower than others we'd received. One rarely hears a homeowner say, "I really liked my contractor!" after a remodel, but you'll hear it from us.

I've used Chelsea Construction for both a total remodel and upgrade work on a different project. The quality of the finishing is excellent and the crew cleans up the site every day. If I was doing a new project, I would call them today. I was very happy with their whole team.

This is our second major project with Chelsea and both have been fantastic. From the Design team to the Project Manager and all of the various trades people, all were easy to work with. They were all willing to work through any challenges that arose. Construction can be a trying experience but they helped to make it a rewarding one. We love our new addition!

Very pleased we choose Chelsea Design + Construction. Owner Mark and Project Manager Jorge were very hands-on and ensured all of the details of our remodel were executed exactly as planned. It was clear they had experience with this type of project. No detail was too small for their team. As with any project there may be little things that need to be corrected and Chelsea worked to ensure everything was perfect at the end. Would work with them again.

Best contractor ever! Mark and his team have remodeled most of our 4500 sf home. And we love everything they have done. Most recently, Chelsea remodeled our kitchen, dining room and entry way--absolutely gorgeous! Scotty and Louie paneled our 30 foot entry way and changed this ho-hum space to something very special. Our kitchen looks like a kitchen out of Architectural Digest! In my bedroom, I wanted a new fireplace mantel and showed Scotty a photo...and he built it! Chelsea and its great team are flexible, and they offered many creative ideas that vastly improved our home. And perhaps most importantly, we like the employees who have worked in our home over many years. They are always respectful, clean, and leave the jobsite cleaner than it was before they did their work. Thank you Mark, Scotty and the entire Chelsea Team!

Very good and professional. Project got delayed because of permits and Covid. But they worked constantly to try and get permits from the city.
