We have had Suzanne assist us with various smaller redecorating projects over the past 10 or so years and already knew that she was professional, up to date in current trends and reasonably priced. Initially our projects were relatively minor, but the last one involved gutting most of our house and designing a new kitchen, main bathroom and eating/living spaces. I was very nervous about doing this but with Suzanne's assistance the whole design and planning phase was so much easier than I thought. She listened carefully to our ideas and future plans for our house as well as our budget considerations and assisted us with developing a on open concept design (in a 100 year old brick house) with an ultra modern look for both floors of our house. She recommended suppliers and worked with both our kitchen installer and contractor at various times to come up with solutions to issues such as lighting, counter and cupboard spacing, paint colours, etc. Whenever we had any questions about anything she responded promptly by email. She provided great suggestions for furniture type, colours and placement. The renovation is finally complete and it looks exactly like what we had wanted! Suzanne is pleasant to work with and carefully considers your own thoughts and ideas in creating a design. We highly recommend her for any renovations or redecorating projects, large or small. Suzanne Fast has a lot of great ideas. Whether it's a design for a new or modern space or she's refurbishing or updating a traditional old home, Suzanne knows how to make a place look impressive. She knows how to add zest with paint colors, where to put what, how to design new spaces, decorate offices and to create wow appeal with focal pieces such as a new door. Suzanne designed the finishes and windows for a custom door that has created a buzz in the neighborhood. Suzanne rescued me when my 16 yo daughter drove through the carriageway floor to ceiling window in front of our tiny parking spot. An easy mistake for a new driver and we saw it as a chance to renovate that section. Suzanne did a fabulous job re-designing the area, and her husband John Grass, General Manager at Pat Powers Construction, worked with his team to rebuild it. They decided to frame the bottom section, then put in new windows and door. Suzanne chose sandblast glass as a window finish for privacy and dark brown paint for the outside and trim. It's stunning. Suzanne is now choosing paint colors for the office and helping with suggestions for the waiting room. Suzanne is flexible and has fluid ideas. She doesn't get stuck on one style of design, instead she generates lots of ideas. She makes time to meet with clients soon after they contact her, and she is always on time. Suzanne has a great attitude and is fun to work with. She makes small changes that have a big impact for those on a limited budget, and can handle big budgets for those lucky enough to make dreams come true with a custom home, cottage or office. Notes to the door: it was inspired when on a tour of German countryside where many houses had doors with personality. Doors were researched on Houzz and I found one I loved. Frank Hawley, Sales Representative at Aaben Windows in Kingston, coordinated the project. He asked Bruce Schaus from Fibercraft Door Company to custom make the door. Suzanne Fast chose finishing stains and door handles, she selected the privacy glass for the windows, and was involved in all design aspects for the door.

Suzanne has been an invaluable resource for us over the past 6 years. She has helped guide us through 1 cottage and 2 home renovations during that time. Suzanne listened carefully to what we liked/hoped for and was able to custom tailor her extensive knowledge and skill to enable our vision to be realized. She walked us through initial design layouts right through to choosing fixtures and paint colours, and so much more. Her attention to detail helped us avoid issues we couldn't have anticipated.
