We collaborated with Cheryl on a marvelous primary bathroom renovation in Midlothian. She had an excellent rapport with our client and the design elements are stunning. We highly recommend Cheryl and her team.

Cheryl has done an amazing job with the interior design in my home. She really understands my style and has been so helpful with making decisions, something I struggle with! She helps the entire time until the project is completed, which is amazing when the contractor needs a nudge to get something done or anything like that pops up. My home feels beautiful and even better than I could have imagined after her work. She is really easy to work with and I will definitely use her for future projects. I would highly recommend her after working with her!

Cheryl is wonderful! We hired her to design a playroom for our 2 little girls, as well as help pick out new light fixtures for various areas in our home. She has an incredible eye, is very friendly and responsive and easy to work with! We are so grateful for her expertise and LOVE the finished product!

Cheryl has been amazing in helping my wife and me transform our drab, outdated basement into a family area where we now want to spend time. And a place where guests can comfortably stay while visiting. She listened to our needs and creatively brought them to life. We are still using Cheryl on this project. And intend to do so with future projects.

I am so lucky to have found Cheryl! I have worked with her on several projects over the past few years and she never ceases to amaze me how she can pull things together into rooms I just love to be in! She has always been professional, extremely organized and presented me several options for each choice of fabric, furniture, art, etc. so we can stay within budget. I first found Cheryl in the fall of 2014 after I had finished remodeling my kitchen. During the remodel I had removed the wall between my kitchen table and our small family room and one evening I was sitting at the table and looking at my beautiful new kitchen and my family room that looked like my grandmother had decorated it. That was when I knew I needed help! I have never worked with a designer before and I am so happy I found Cheryl. She really listened to me and it didn't take long for us to discover my taste ran more contemporary. We discussed several options for my ugly orange brick fireplace and ended up just painting it a beautiful sage color and to this day I still get compliments on how it looks! We picked a fabric for recliners that I would never in a million years have considered without Cheryl but I love it. After completing the family room, we completely redid my master bedroom in 2016 and I still smile every time I walk into it. Exactly what I wanted - neutral but with texture. Our last project was in the summer of 2019 where we removed the walls between my small living and dining rooms and opened it up into one room. We put down new flooring, paint, area rugs, furniture, art, etc. and it has again turned out just the way I wanted it to. My husband and I enjoy being in the living room on the weekends watching movies and I am still amazed looking around at how much I like it. I do have to mention that my husband hasn't asked for much during these projects but the few things he wants, like his big bulky speakers in the living room, Cheryl has always accommodated and worked into the design without missing a beat. Thank you Cheryl!

Cheryl took time to understand me and then designed my space to fit my lifestyle. The rooms not only look good, they are functional and comfortable. Cheryl is an incredibly talented designer, with great attention to detail, style and color. I have used Cheryl to assist with my design needs when I relocated to various homes.

I am so thankful for Cheryl and her insight, expertise and innovation as a designer. Last year, we renovated two guest bathrooms, and this year we renovated our kitchen and also the serving area off of the kitchen. Working with Cheryl has been a true delight. From the beginning, she took the time to listen to us about the things that were most important to us with regard to style and use of space. With her at the helm, we were able to relax and just enjoy the process. She just made everything so much fun. Our rather ordinary spaces have been transformed into extraordinary spaces. We have had the pleasure of working with Cheryl for over 15 years. After we moved into a previously built home in 2004, we hired Cheryl to create and design a media room out of a large art studio in our home. She transformed it into a stunning 12 seat theater that far exceeded our expectations and imagination! We were so impressed with her professionalism, creativity and expertise and decided to hire her to redesign our entire home of nearly 9,000 sq ft. Over the years, we have used her services for selecting new furnishings, window treatments, flooring, bathroom tile, paint colors, wall paper, wall artwork, accent pieces, reconfiguring existing furnishings, etc. We could literally type pages of all the things she has done for us. In 2014, we did a total kitchen renovation and hired Cheryl to help create, design and orchestrate the entire project from start to finish with a local home remodeling company. Our kitchen project lasted five months and Cheryl never skipped a beat...always organized, met every deadline and did an outstanding and superb job! We built a new home in 2019 and Cheryl helped us from start to finish throughout the building process and after we moved in. She selected every single item and detail in our new home and we were absolutely astounded by her work! If we could describe Cheryl in one word, it would be “Excellence”! Cheryl not only has an extraordinary gift, she is truly a joy to work with. We have referred Cheryl to many friends and acquaintances and everyone tell us how amazing she was to work with and their home looks beautiful! We gave Cheryl 5 stars and highly recommend her for any small or large project in your home!

I reached out to Cheryl about a year ago after building a house. I was overwhelmed with choices about furniture, window treatments, colors, and what to hang on the walls. Cheryl is an absolute delight to work with. She has an innate ability to make things look amazing. And, I mean amazing. Too often homeowners spend money on there homes without getting the desired results in regard to both design and function. Cheryl and I , my company Griffin Customs, have worked together on several projects now. Cheryl has been consistent in delivering the highest level of creativity and professionalism. She also has one of those personalities that allows her clients to better handle the sometimes difficult task of specifying finishes and material. I contacted Cheryl after I purchased several different pieces for my new urban industrial condo that just did not work. I had been all over Houzz saving photos in my ideabooks. One of articles was about hiring a pro for paint colors and etc. So I searched through Houzz's list of professionals and found Cheryl Jarvis. Contacted her and made an appointment to meet. I was overwhelmed as to where to start decorating my new industrial condo. She came in and accessed my space and we began picking out paint samples. Cheryl always displays professionalism and is confident in her recommendations. She has turned my warehouse with only a sofa when we met, into a BEAUTIFUL home that I do not want to leave!
