This is the second home I've had the opportunity to work on with jeannine. Jeannine's design sense and impeccable workmanship make her transformations outstanding! What i especially appreciate is her ability to choose colors and fabrics outside my comfort zone. In the end, our collaboration is not only beautiful it is truly exciting.

Jeannine completed a window treatment project at our home. She proved to be knowledgeable, helpful, supportive and encouraging. She makes suggestions but allows you decide - while helping you based on her vast experience! Her samples of fabrics are of high quality and endless. From choosing fabrics, to deciding on styles, to completing the installation she was a pleasure to work with. She made what we thought might be a difficult project quite easy and enjoyable.

Our family had been in our newly built home for 10 years and needed to update our great room area, 2nd floor sitting area and 3rd floor kids room. We contacted Jeannine in July of '14 to help with not only our projects. Jeannine was instrumental in providing guidance on furniture selection, configurations and color schemes as well as creating a updated new look for our nice quality but outdated existing furniture. Jeannine is an excellent resource for any home sewing and/or redecorating project; she commits her time, attention to understanding your tastes and function of your space and while she has an exquisite eye and taste for fabrics, she shops around for beautiful pieces at bargain prices in order to leverage your overall spend on her projects. We have new pieces of furniture that with the pillows Jeannine made bring these pieces to a new level. That said, it's our existing furniture that Jeannine made slip covers for that are a testiment to her sewing skills. I can say that I really wasn't a slip cover fan until I saw Jeannine's work. The pieces that she did, 2 couches, a chair and a half and it's ottomen, look as if they've been re-upolstered instead of slip covered. They were really great pices but after 15 years showed their wear. After Jeannine was finsihed with here work, they looked brand new, up to date and fit with the character of our house. Exactly what we were looking for! I highly recommend Jeannine if you are looking for exquisite craftmensship, an eye for creating a georgous space and an honest opinion of what she believes will work for a room. Thank you, Jeannine!

Jeannine Petteruti has worked with me on numerous projects throughout my house. She is a trained artist and designer and she applies her expertise to fabric selection and construction. Her sewing is exceptional. She has made draperies and other window treatments, pillows, and covered furniture in my home. She is able to make a slip cover that fits so well that it looks like the chair has been reupholstered. It is an amazing example of her exceptional sewing ability and her design and construction ability. In addition, she is very professional. She evaluates the job and within a day provides a detailed proposal that includes sketches, thorough outline of the project, and pricing. She has always delivered finished products when she says they will be ready. She installs and follows-up to make sure her client is pleased with the end result.
