TURN Architects llp is a small, highly experienced architectural practice established in 2006 by architects Gozi Wamuo and Andrea Jung. Both partners bring their expertise from a diverse range of projects and offices to the practice, including large and small scale commercial (office and retail), private residential and social housing, a zero carbon house, childcare, educational and community projects. Based in North London, we have consistently provided creative and sustainable solutions for our clients' projects. We carry out both partial and full architectural services, from feasibility to project management up to completion of works. We also offer a pre-purchase advice service. Our typical budget range is £80K-£700K. Discussing costs with clients on day one is absolutely essential, to manage expectations and to give a realistic picture of possibilities and constraints. Watchpoints: 1) a builder will usually quote a net price, ie 20% VAT will apply on top; 2) a contingency is needed for all projects but particularly for older properties; we usually recommend a 15% contingency; 3) clients often decide to carry out additional improvements whilst the builder is on site.
