About Us

Colleen Ferguson Design is a Calgary based design studio focused on high-end residential contemporary design. I work with builders, contractors, and homeowners, helping my clients select interior and exterior finishes (flooring, paint, cabinets, countertops, lighting, furniture, stone, stucco etc. for a variety of new build and custom renovation projects. If you’re feeling overwhelmed about the overall design or choosing finishes for your new house or custom renovation, I hear you! Many clients find the process overwhelming. You are not alone. It’s the number one statement I hear, residential design in general, including, choosing cabinets, flooring, countertops, lighting, paint, etc. is what I love to do. I get excited to see my clients get excited about their new space, and you getting excited about your new space means you can leave all those anxious feelings behind you. For me, it’s not just about creating a beautiful space, (although that is very important to me), it’s about how that space makes you feel about you, your family and how it reflects your unique style(s). I have been working with Colleen for a few months now on a major home renovation. I have worked with other designers in the past, but none made me feel as though they really heard me and fully understood who I am , or what I needed for my personal space. Colleen "got" me right away and always remembers my expressed preferences and needs. Working with her has been very relaxing and fun! Colleen is the most talented, creative and resourceful person I have ever met and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Definitely give yourself the pleasure of meeting her as you consider your design needs!

Commented: Need help selecting a backspash for my kitchenI would go with a light subway tile, very light grey, off white, or matte white is very nice. Glass subway tiles would be an option as well depending on the look you are going for.
