Evergreen Custom Construction

We have built two homes with Evergreen Custom Construction and have been very pleased with both homes. The quality of their work is fabulous. The home we recently completed had a lot of custom features and they did a great job with it. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

My wife and I hired Evergreen Custom Construction to do a pretty extensive renovation on our home in Greenville, SC. We were very pleased with Doug and Jeff and their attention to detail. The final product was quite impressive to see and we are happy to give them our highest recommendation to anyone building or renovating a house.

Jeff Lineberger was the face of Evergreen for our project. He and the team did a great job! Communications were much better than we have ever experienced with other builders and the end result was terrific.

Doug and the Evergreen construction team was great from the start. We were involved in every decision from the first day on. We had minimal issues throughout the building process and the entire team was extremely responsive to any questions or concerns. Our house was finished before the initial expected move in date to accommodate our families needs. I would highly recommend them to our friends and family and would love to use the team in the future.

From the start of our home construction, the Evergreen team was hands-on, with great communication throughout the process. They delivered as promised and contrary to common belief, we actually came in UNDER budget ... never thought that would happen. What I really liked and needed, was their input on "corners that I could and shut cut" and those that I did not need to even consider. The finished product was great and the post move-in punch list is actually quite short. We did have several issues along the way, but they were quick to resolve, which is all I could ask for. Evergreen will build my next house as well!

We had hired Evergreen to build a custom home at The Cliffs at Mountain Park and we could not be more excited with the results. The Evergreen team understood our vision and assembled a great team of contractors that successfully executed our dream home. We called Doug with Evergreen to do an extensive renovation on our home, which included gutting the existing structure and adding a second story. I was pregnant, so I anxious about getting the job completed in a timely manner. I was SO overwhelmed with scope of the job and the design process. My husband and I braced ourselves for what we thought would be a nightmare (as most have come to expect of a building process), however, this was not the case when it came to working with Doug and his team. I can’t speak highly enough of the team at Evergreen- they have a person to handle each component of the building process, making it a seamless and truly enjoyable experience for us! Ashley, the Operations Manager, is a saint- she always responded to any questions or concerns promptly. She’s their secret weapon behind the scenes- coordinating meetings, managing the budget, estimates and a little bit of anything in between! Tony was great when it came to handling permits and the Architectural Review Board, by dealing with the unpleasant aspects of the building process, so we didn’t have to. Mostly, we’ve been so impressed with how the job was managed, which I contribute to our wonderful Project Manager, Jeff. Any issues that may have arisen were handled immediately and Jeff worked tirelessly to keep everything running smoothly and made sure that we were happy along the way. The subcontractors that they use provide excellent quality of work and have been wonderful to work with as well. We’ve been so happy with how our house turned out and have received a ton of compliments on how wonderful the house looks after it’s transformation! If you’re in the market for a builder in Greenville, go with Evergreen! You won’t be disappointed!

We were very pleased with the renovation of our home, everything was dine in a timely and efficient manner. In fact, we loved the company so much my husband went to work with Evergreen a year later. Now that’s satisfaction!!

Doug and his entire team at Evergreen were great to work with and I am very pleased with our new house. They worked well with the architect to make sure all the detail work was done as designed, and always were available to go over any questions I had. The team of subcontractors were also excellent, especially the carpenters who were able to handle some complicated customizations. My husband and I hired Evergreen Construction for our home remodel/addition in 2016. It was an extensive job, requiring gutting a portion of the house and adding a master suite on the other side. Doug and his team helped make the process as smooth as possible from beginning to end. They have a good system of keeping things moving along, and each phase was completed close to the time predicted. Ashley does a great job of keeping everyone on schedule, making sure selections are made in a timely manner and provides frequent budget updates. Overall, GREAT experience! Doug and his team did an excellent job! We stayed on track and received consistent communication. The project manager stayed on top of things and oversaw the project daily. We ended up moving in right on time! We would highly recommend Evergreen Construction! In fact, we plan to build a garage and Evergreen will be doing the work!

They we very attentive and easy to work with. As this was our first renovation, we were a bit nervous about the process. They made it easy and guided us along the way. We couldn't be happier!

Evergreen Construction just completed one month ago building our custom dream house. We owned a small old house with severe foundation issues but in a great neighborhood and on a great lot, so they arranged for demolition of the old house, clearing and grading of the lot and removal of a couple of trees, then rebuilt a bigger and better house and arranged for the yard landscaping- truly a one-stop shop for the whole process. Let me start by saying that my husband and I both would (and have) whole-heartedly recommend Doug and his company, Evergreen Construction, without any concern or reservations. We had heard horror stories from people about building a new custom home, and everyone warned us there would be at least a couple of major problems and/or delays. None of that proved to be true with our project. It went extremely smoothly from Day 1 until we moved in 6 weeks before our contract said- in time for my dream of waking up in my new house on Christmas Day. His team knew how important that was to me and worked like crazy the last couple of months to make it happen once it looked potentially doable. We live in an older, well-established neighborhood where about half of the original 1930'-40's houses have either been torn down and rebuilt or drastically renovated in the last 5-10 years. One of our goals was to inconvenience the neighbors as little as possible and to keep the house appropriate for the neighborhood, both of which the Evergreen crew accomplished. I even had a personal email from a couple who has lived in the neighborhood for 40+ years commending us on our design and how it stayed true to its surrounding but also especially commenting on how great our builder was- that they kept a vey clean lot, had people there almost every single day working, and responded immediately and well to the couple of issues neighbors had. By the end of the first meeting we had with Doug, we knew he and his company were who we would use. He was the only one of the 3 builders we interviewed who went out on the initial meeting and walked our lot with us, describing what he envisioned based on our ideas. Throughout the process, his workers were professional and gave us excellent advice and patiently answered all our questions. I am a surgeon, so by nature, I tend to be very OCD and constantly was checking on things at the site, which he and his subcontractors all tolerated! I want to especially call attention to not only the company's owner, who is always personally involved in the project and our project manager who was also great, but to their Operations Manager, Ashley, who was a lifesaver for a couple like us who both work crazy hours at full-time jobs. She arranged all the meetings and appointments we needed and sent me all the finishes' estimates for me to approve, while working around our horrible schedules. She also knew every single tiny detail of the project and was incredible at communicating with us. Having her to bounce our thoughts on options off of was also invaluable. Lastly, with the exception of allowances that I elected to go over budget on, the house was on budget! I cannot tell you what a great experience this was as far as building a custom house while working full time, and we have had no problems since move-in and are in absolute love with our new house!

Hired Evergeen Custom Homes to build a 2,800 sq. foot single family residence. It was completed on schedule and within budget. Was very impressed with the quality, professionalism and craftsmanship. We were not present during the build process but was impressed with the project management and design support people working for Evergreen. Had minimal issues at the closing any problems were fixed to our satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend Evergeen as a company you can trust.
