We purchased a condo in Hawaii that needed a total updating of all fixtures and plumbing in both bathrooms, new window screens, black out window treatments, the installation of an air conditioner unit, a water treatment system, the re-configuration of closets in one bedroom, and re-painting the entire unit. Debbie Mooers, Freestyle Designs did all this in just three months while we were off the island! At the beginning we spent a few days with her picking things out and she took it from there. It was easy to deal with her, even when there had to be some changes in material selection, etc. We would hire her agan in a heart beat and highly recommend Freestyle Designs.

I have hired Debbie on several projects. The first job was as an interior designer and as project manager on a $200,000 Kihei, Maui rehab job. And I was extremely pleased with her professionalism. I was concerned hiring a female project manager to bid out and oversee the construction job of all male contractors, she did great and consistently enforced quality work on my job. I then hired her to project manage a pool installation, and then again to do interior design on another home. Very pleased overall. And she has a great way with contractors and subs.

We worked with Debbie Mooers of Freestyle Designs to virtually gut and rebuild a five bedroom house over an eight month period. This included filling in an old pool and raising it the equivalent of one storey. Deb acted as our general contractor and as our designer - everything from built ins to furnishings. She did a great job of keeping the job running smoothly while we were back home in Canada. Deb has the rather unique talent of having both incredible construction knowledge as well as excellent design sense, knowledge and resources. She was able to communicate well with both of us - my husband on the construction side and with me on the design side. We loved working with her. We love our home on Maui and highly recommend Deb to help you with yours.

She knew exactly what I wanted then took it to the next level. Her extensive knowledge of construction beyond (interior) design is impressive. I fully trusted her where I had her "blessing" on just about everything regarding the house. She was very pleasant and a pleasure to work with. If I ever build another house, I'd have her hired much earlier in the game.

Debbie Mooers did an outstanding job in decorating our 1800 sq ft vacation home. As we live in a different country than our vacation home we were concerned about the logistics of selecting furniture & artwork. Debbie reassured us she had plenty of experience in working with remote customers. We met Debbie face-to-face at the start of the project to describe our vision for the finished unit. She was very professional and had a very positive attitude. From then on, we communicated via email and frequently traded pictures etc. After seeing some of her furnishing options it became clear she had a very strong understanding of our preferances. All the funishing and decor selected by Debbie were exactly what we envisioned. She completed the project on time and on budget. We were really pleased, and would hire her again to do a similar decorating job from start to finish - too bad we can't get her to decorate our Calgary home!

Debbie is extremely thorough and detail oriented. She has great people skills and most of her clients become good friends. She has a good grasp of current trends and materials and always seems to be on the lookout for new ways to solve old problems. She works well with consultants and contractors.
