Edwina Drummond Interiors

We have worked with Edwina over the past year and a half updating our apartment in the city. She has been extremely professional, wonderful to work with, and very flexible in dealing with our crazy schedules. Her talent and creativity were apparent to us early on. One of our first projects was to replace a problematic living room rug that I had purchased. She dealt directly with the retail store and was able to negotiate a replacement rug at a discounted cost. I was impressed! Edwina's suggestions on window treatments, bedding, light fixtures, wall paper, rugs, and furniture have been outstanding, and she has been very willing to adapt to our design preferences. She knows the best places to shop, and she has many professional contacts in the industry. We've been extremely happy with her talent and creativity, her efficient manner, and her personality. We continue to happily work with her on upcoming projects.

Edwina consulted with my husband and I during the renovation of our 1800's farm house last summer. We can't say enough about how wonderful she was to work with! From larger structural concepts to lighting to finish details, Edwina was able to provide helpful input and collaborate effectively with our contractor throughout the renovation process. An experienced and knowledgeable professional, Edwina promptly gave us a variety of resources, products, websites, stores, etc. that matched our budget and style whenever we needed assistance. When it came to on site meetings, she was extremely efficient with our consultation time, always checking in ahead to set the agenda and arriving with options in line with our style. During walk throughs she has a great eye for both the design and function of a space. She was able to point out potential issues or make suggestions that resulted in key improvements to our plans. Edwina was a true partner and advocate throughout our project. She attended meetings with other contractors whenever we needed her and frequently sent along pictures and links when she came across something that might be a fit for us. Overall we are so grateful that we were able to work with Edwina. She will be an invaluable asset to any project.

When I first contacted Edwina, I was worried that she wouldn't take my project b/c it wasn't a large or fancy project.. However, she was very gracious and was very happy to work within my budget. Edwina helped me pick out paint colors, shades/ blinds and guided me in working with a company who made custom made tables. I found Edwina to very straightforward, prompt and very professional..When I encountered a couple of problems with suppliers she was very helpful in sorting it out! She's definitely worth the expense. In the end, I love how everything turned out. If I had to do it all over again, I would go back to Edwina.

Fortunately I have had the opportunity to work with Edwina on three homes, all in very different settings. Her incredible ability to rapidly assess and combine form and function has resulted in the creation of living areas that not only look great but work well. For example, in our mountaintop home she was able to immediately to recognize design flaws and correct them to make much better use of space. Edwina spends a lot of time educating herself about new materials, products etc. and where to purchase high quality at reasonable prices. Her creativity is one of her strengths. She often comes up with original ideas that are special for the home and lifestyle, yet she is very agreeable to work with the preferences of the owner. She has a multitude of professional contacts and seems to get along with all well, while requiring that work is completed with great attention to detail in a timely manner. She has boundless energy and is always willing to put in the time and energy to make a project a success.

Edwina is the most amazing interior designer I have ever met. I felt like she could read my mind! Every time she came to the house with fabric she knew what I liked before I did. Her ability to listen to me and provide guidance is amazing. Edwina pays attention to every little detail and I love her creativity!

Edwina was one of four designers that was recommended to my husband and I to help with the design and selections of our new home build. Edwina stood out from the rest of the designers we spoke with for many reasons. Not only did she understand all of the aspects that we had to work with and decisions that had to be made, but she also worked with our budget (which was extremely important to us!!) and she wouldn't compromise on the design that we had in mind. Edwina spent lot of time researching our style, understanding our lifestyle, and suggesting solutions and designs that would exceed our expectations while keeping in mind that we had a budget to work with. This was the first home we were building and naturally it was overwhelming. Edwina was extremely detail oriented and went above and beyond to make sure we were not forgetting any level of detail even if wasn't a project that she was directly engaged in. In addition to the beautiful home she helped design for us, the many many vendors/companies she has relationships with for every project imaginable, and the level of detail, Edwina was also extremely flexible with both of our hectic work schedules and builder/contractor schedules. There were many times that she worked extremely late into the night to help us out with decisions in order to meet deadlines the builder had to keep us on track to move into our home. I can't thank Edwina enough for how much she helped us with this project. If it wasn't for Edwina, this project would have been completely overwhelming! She took an enormous amount of stress off of us with her experience and knowledge. There never seems to be a project too small or too big for her and she truly makes you feel like you are her #1 priority. We are looking forward to working with Edwina on our next project!

Working with Edwina has been nothing but positive. She is efficient, personable and professional. She finds incredible deals as exampled by an beautiful designer sofa that she found for us on massive discount at the design center. She is able to pair more expensive chairs with throw pillows from T.J.Maxx. I love having her in my home. She is able to honor my desires and push my thinking around what is possible at the same time. I can't recommend her highly enough.

In 1989, Edwina planned and executed the building of my large modern, built, from scratch chalet home in Freedom, NH. She was a team player, excellent consultant and communicator with the architect, builder, and me. As a decorator, Edwina "allows" the clients' style and choices to be honored. Edwina is responsive, prompt, organized, thorough, and honest. She meets deadlines and bills for projects and materials reasonably and within budget. In 2013, Edwina assisted me with space planning and a major downsizing for my retirement move to Florida. Anyone who has the opportunity and good fortune to work with Edwina will be 100 percent satisfied. She is a seasoned professional, does beautiful work, and chooses furnishings that are simple yet elegant, sophisticated yet functional, and please the eye.

Edwina has done beautiful interior design work for me over 20+ years on 2 homes including a whole house remodel and a major kitchen renovation. She has such talent and creativity in design, color and detail. I love working with Edwina, she listens well, manages projects effectively, and keeps it fun at the same time.
