John is truly a quality builder and earns his wings every day. He has built two homes for us and we couldn’t be happier. While many of our friends fired their builders we befriended him!! He has a tradesman who only builds stairways for his clients and there are no squeaks as a result. Also, it is refreshing how the carpenters are so meticulous with the crown molding and built in dressers. Details really matter to Patrick and John! The pricing is on the higher side but you surely get what you pay for and he was extremely fair on all of the change orders. We recommend John Hobart Miller, third generation family builders, for anyone who is interested in building their custom home.

John Hobart Miller has complete four major remodeling/addition projects for me in the past 3 years. I was completely satisfied w all four projects and they presented excellent value for the work performed. John and Pat are very professional and were attentive to all my needs. They have decades of experience in new homebuilding and remodeling and deserve their outstanding reputation. I also used them for a referral for a new roof and was completely satisfied w their sub who did the work. I would use John H Miller again for any and all home improvement projects in the future and recommend them without reservation to others interested in top quality home related work.

We have used John Hobart Miller Inc. for many projects over the years. At our first home, John completed a full remodel of our basement and deck. At our second home, he completed a full remodel of the house. This included adding a third level addition, remodeling the kitchen, redesigning the second floor layout, and updating numerous bathrooms. We have also used John for many smaller projects such as new garage doors, garage flooring, windows and lighting fixtures. We always use John Hobart Miller Inc. because of their high quality and attention to detail. We know the job will be done RIGHT. John has long-standing relationships with all of his contractors that are the best in the area. This means the job is top-notch, but we are also comfortable having workers in our home and around our family. John always follows up to be sure the work is done to your satisfaction. We purchased a newly built home from JHM, with the house being 80% complete and we got to work with them to finalize all of the interior details. The team that they brought forth was fantastic, we used all of their recommendations and had a fantastic experience, and even the contractors spoke glowingly of JHM in terms of their professionalism. As I myself spent 15 years working for large residential building products companies, I have a pretty good understanding of quality products and workmanship, and JHM builds as good a house as I've seen. We're now 6 months after moving in, and they have been very good in working with us to finalize the various small punch list items in an orderly fashion. I would lastly add that many of the people we have met in the community speak proudly of owning a JHM house, they have been building fantastic houses for generations.

The design of the house, quality of work and the relationships they have with those that work with them (plumbers, landscapers, designers painters) have made buying a new construction home easy, painless and fun.
