Rene did a fabulous job as both architect and project manager for a complete renovation and major addition to our home originally built in 1918. She is creative, pragmatic, and thorough. She's a strong advocate of her customer. We definitely made the right decision by enlisting Rene as our architect!

Rene Stratton is an extremely conscientious and creative architect. I have been involved in projects with her that are both new builds and additions/rehabs of vintage homes. She is easy to work with and communicates well with her co-workers and clients.

I have worked with Rene Stratton of Stratton architects on many projects in the past ten years. She utilizes her extensive knowledge of period homes, adhering to the age and style of the home, with fastidious attention to details. She has scoured flea markets and the web to find period appropriate fixtures, hardware, lighting, windows, even mantles. Stratton Architects are fully involved in the entire design process, from initial consultation, design, materials selection, intricate detailed drawings and coordinating the final construction. Very professional, detailed, willing to work with the trades to finish a project correctly and on schedule. A project in Chicago had a narrow, partitioned layout, where no natural light reached the tiny dated kitchen. Rene moved a bathroom to another area, removed a pantry and kitchen walls to open up the entire unit to large windows on either end. The result was spectacular and the clients were delighted with the new space!
