As I write this review our home is under construction and I have only great things to say about Catalyst. From the beginning, Heather, Wayne and Brandon have been beyond helpful turning our vision into reality. Their knowledge of both their craft and the business is extensive. Not only have they created beautiful plans problem-solving a tricky lot, they have introduced us to equally knowledgable construction professionals to carry out our vision along the way. They are top notch!

Wayne and his team at Catalyst were able to integrate traditional concepts with new and creative design and materials ideas to help us achieve what we initially envisioned, but at a higher level than we ever dreamed. Wayne's knowledge of our local market, his long standing relationship with our builder and his ability to work with local zoning and permitting authorities served us well.

Catalyst worked Ry with us to design what we wanted and added additional attractive and smart features. Their attention to detail was excellent. Would definiey recommend them to others.

As a long time Realtor, I have seen a multitude of homes designed by many different architects. When my wife and I decided it was time to build our own home, the decision as to which architects should assist us was an easy one it had to be Wayne Rogers and Heather Stallworth of Catalyst. Catalyst designed homes are in our present neighborhood and stand out for their superior design and character. Our new neighborhood is no exception. Again Catalyst homes are there and continue to represent the best in building. Now we know why. Wayne and Heather have mastered the art of asking the right questions, listening to their client and putting dreams and ideas into beautiful living spaces. Importantly, they work within the client’s budget presenting options that we would have never thought possible. Designing great homes is hard work, but designing perfect ones are fun when you work with Catalyst.

Wayne and Heather are incredibly talented and professional. Their drawings reflected our desires and needs, as well as their fine-tuned understanding of how to integrate new renovation work with historic structures. We were particularly pleased when we had to scale back the scope of our renovation due to financial constraints. They easily translated their original vision to a scaled back version, and the result is fantastic.

After looking at real estate for 2 years we decided to build a house! Wayne Rogers, at Catalyst, was recommended to us. we met with him a couple of times to determine IF we could build a house in our budget. pew met with Wayne several times to draw the plans. We looked at several house that Wayne had designed, including his own home. he was so receptive to our ideas, he had great ideas and his vast experience gave him great insight into problem solving! not to mention that he is unbelievably patient, kind and fun to spend time with!! ( he is also quite the artist! ) Because we lived so far away, he oversaw the project and kept us well informed about the progress of the house!

Wayne Rogers and Heather Stallworth from Catalyst were fantastic to work with! Our lot is an unusual shape, but they worked with it to design a great plan that makes the most of the size, shape and setting. They really listened to our ideas and created plans for a house that will work perfectly for our family -- it is functional and great looking!

We hired Catalyst shortly after we bought our lot to help us draw house plans in a very specific budget. They worked very well with us in drawing the plans to incorporate the features we thought were important. Because the job was at the beach, they were the onsite supervisor and did a very good job.

Our experience in building a house was different than most other people's we know who had done the same. It was one of the most fun things my wife and I have done together since we have been married. I credit this to Catalyst, our architects, and Celtic Works, our builder. Wayne and Heather were extremely insightful, and asked a ton of questions about how we wanted to live in our new house and what we thought the look and feel of it should be before they began to design. They collaborated with Celtic on budget and materials that were to be used. They listened and took notes and then asked more questions. They made sure that they understood us and our budget before they began drawing. When they showed us the design, we were amazed at how they captured what we were looking for. The house they designed was not only beautiful, but highly efficient. There is no wasted space. The house fits us perfectly, not only in size, but in its look and feel. More importantly, it also matched the budget that we had set. Wayne and Heather worked well not only with us, but also with our builders, Celtic Works. Having both of them as advisers when we had to make decisions and changes before and during construction was extremely helpful and took a lot of the stress of the project for us as owners. As a team, that combination of experts(Catalyst and Celtic) was fantastic. I cannot give a higher recommendation.

Wayne Rogers of Catalyst Architects is a joy to recommend because he makes me look good! Having touched about 180 homes in DeBordieu Colony either from conception or from a remodeling standpoint, he has perfected the art of delivering to the client exactly what they want, within budget, but with added design elements that keep the home current, whether it's a formal design, or the sophisticated coastal style he has perfected over the years. I can always count on Wayne's honesty, product knowledge, and sense of humor to make my client's comfortable with the decisions they must make with Wayne to design and construct what could be one of the biggest investments in their lives. His relationship with local high quality builders insures that he can get the job done on time, and at a level of quality DeBordieu residents have come to expect from Catalyst. Having been involved in Real Estate Sales and Marketing at DeBordieu since 1986, I've had the opportunity to refer many happy clients to Catalyst who have had the desire to build from the ground up, and those who now are purchasing older homes in DeBordieu with "great bones" that just need updating, mostly in the kitchens and baths. It seems no job is too small, or too large for Wayne! His desire to see DeBordieu continue to flourish is evident, as is his talent for making that happen.
