Lexi Westergard Design

Wow! We are so impressed with Lexi and her team. They have great vision and execution. Our vision boards literally came to life! We are working on our house in phases. We LOVE the work that was done and will without a doubt continue to use LWD for all of our design needs!

We hired Lexi for a full remodel of our home in 2017. Initially I thought I could pick out all of the finishes myself but quickly got overwhelmed! Once we hired Lexi, she quickly took over and fit into our project seamlessly. She listed to my vision and added her eye and talent to the project. She created beautiful inspiration boards that were beyond what I could have dreamed up in my head and helped to keep the project on track and on schedule. She would frequently come by the site to check on progress and worked well with our contractor. We are SO happy with the end result! Not only is Lexi talented at what she does but she is fun to work with! Luckily we are still in the process of working on the interior styling of our home so we will have the opportunity to continue to work with Lexi in the future!

I worked with Lexi Westergard Design to help me remodel our kitchen, laundry room and bathroom. I had a wonderful experience with them. Lexi is amazingly talented, knowledgeable, has great style, is super organized and professional. She listened to the direction I was wanting to go in and came up with some beautiful design samples that fit exactly what I was looking for. She is good at making decisions which was helpful because I can be very indecisive. We are so happy with how everything turned out and have already referrered her to some of our family and friends.

First, I want to say that I normally don't post online reviews but I want to make sure that more families are not taken advantage of by Lexi Westergard Design. Lexi Westergard was recommended to me by my general contractor to remodel an older home. Before meeting with me, she had me fill out a questionnaire and then we did a walk through of our home. She never once asked me about any of the things I had included in the questionnaire for our family's wants and needs in our new home. I spoke to her briefly two times on the phone less than 10 minutes each time. When she presented me her ideas for the kitchens and bathrooms of our new home it was obvious she had not listened to some of the things I had asked for. The next day she presented me with a bill for over 15K of work she claimed to have done in 1 month's time. Some of her charges were outrageous; like $600 to pick out wood samples (which she had mentioned she had already used in a previous design!), $80 in phone calls to me for 10 minutes each and even a $20 charge for creating a paint invoice for me. I was extremely upset because she did not stay within our agreed upon budget. Additionally, I was frustrated that I was not included in any of the decision making processes in selecting tile, plumbing fixtures, paint colors etc. until the day she presented my husband and I her designs. I never dreamed she would go out shopping (billing me for hours worked) without approving her time with me first or asking me to meet her. This is our dream home and I wanted to be involved. I communicated my frustrations and wishes to her without any results. We have since moved on to another designer. I must say my breaking point was when I requested she give me an estimate on the amount of wallpaper I need for a particular bathroom. She refused to do so saying she is closed with my project. I am extremely upset because I already paid her for that work. She billed me around $300 for her to select that wallpaper and $50 to get a hangers estimate (which should be free). I recommend you do your research and check references for your designer.

My husband and I hired Lexi after we bought our first home. We were overwhelmed because prior to this home we had only lived in apartments and didn't have much furniture. We realized we had an opportunity with Lexi to have our home all flow together. We didn't know how to describe very well the style we wanted but Lexi was able to help us see our vision. We absolutely love our home and Lexi and her team are true professionals. Right down to the styling at the end Lexi has a true eye for design.

Lexi is sooooo talented. Her vision is unbelievable! My husband was a bit nervous at the beginning because this is the first time we have hired a designer. But, over the course of the project, Lexi's design skills and personality won his trust and admiration. He's ready for her to tackle the rest of our home! She did just what we wanted in our family room/ kitchen dining area - created a fun, livable, non-cookie-cutter living space. She understood our taste, our historic home and blended everything to create an amazing room. We needed it to be kid-friendly yet polished. It is perfect! We love it!

We absolutely love our house! Lexi is a great designer. She was so fun to work with. I had very specific ideas and she made them all come to life perfectly and was able to give us guidance on what would look good and kept us from making mistakes when we had crazy ideas. Lexi is not only professional she is very knowledgeable about what is trending. We remodeled the entire house, I was worried about making the house look cohesive... I wanted it to flow from one room to the next. The colors and textures Lexi helped us with are beautiful. As well are the fixtures and hardware. Lexi thought of everything... All the way down to the small details of the hardware. Our home is so beautiful that I want to show it off to everyone!!! What could have been a really stressful remodel was effortless and easy with Lexi. You will not be disappointed in her work, style and work ethic. She is one classy lady!

I seriously am so in love with my house. Lexi was such a pleasure to work with. I had serious doubts that we would be able to stay within my budget and still achieve the look I wanted. Lexi completely transformed the spaces making them better than I could imagine. I would recommend her to my friends and look forward to using her with future projects!

I could not be happier working with Lexi and her team. I had recently purchased a house and moved in with virtually nothing but the clothes in my closet. I needed absolutely everything! Lexi was able to take the "house" and turn it into a beautiful and comforting "home" that my family and I will cherish and enjoy for many years to come.
