Minch Construction Corp is a full service General Contracting Company who have been successful in satisfying the needs of New York City and the 5 Boroughs for over 25 years. Our strengths lie in all aspects of construction and project management. With an in-house millwork shop, we custom design and fabricate the most intricate items to suit each individual vision. Design sensibilities – technical skills-years of prior affiliation with various architectural and interior design practices. Minch Construction has done all the work in our apartment over many years. From extensive physical alterations to floor installation to painting we have never been disappointed. Their work is expert, fairly priced and on schedule. I can't say enough good about their attention to detail and finish. I can't say enough good about their desire to satisfy. I recommend them wholeheartedly for any work that needs doing.

William was a pleasure to work with and quickly responsive to any of my requests and questions. William and his team were highly respectful of my home and even befriended my very curious 3 year old son. Importantly, the finished product was exactly what I was hoping for.

Minch Construction Corp did a beautiful job renovating the back half of our apartment (to make 3 bedrooms). We especially love the loft and the built-in cabinets that they built. The loft integrates so well into the existing space that it looks like it belongs there. The white lacquered built-in cabinets are just beautifully done. They also installed Raydoor sliding doors. We also liked the employees of the company that worked on the renovation.

It is worth writing some words to say how good the process of working with Minch Construction has been. We had to enlist Minch from across the continent as we'd moved to California, a potentially difficult process to manage. The work, since completed, from what I can judge of emailed photos is of the highest calibre. This appraisal has been mirrored, unbidden, in comments from our tenant. More importantly, I wanted to pass on how effective Minch was to deal with. Because we are in CA and I had to set up a complex web of emails and logistics between the tenant, the super and other parties, it could have all gotten byzantine and complex very easily. However, it went without a hitch and Minch were on the button; a crisp and cogent entity to deal with at every step- uncommon in my experience of contractors, especially in NYC. And, as icing on the cake, they came in within budget- another rarity in NYC! So, consider this a vouch of great confidence in Minch Construction.

I've worked with William Deegan at Minch Construction for many years and have found him to be professional and knowledgeable regarding the construction process. He even helped out with detailing suggestions when we uncovered unknown situations behind existing walls! I would definitely recommend him and his company to anyone.

I've worked with Minch Construction Corp four times - most recently the 2015 combination of my two one bedroom apartments on the Upper West Side. The work began in August 2015 and was completed on time and on budget. The owner is very involved, a good communicator, has strong attention to detail and follows up immediately on any emerging issues during the project. My past projects with Minch date back to 2001: renovation of my one bedroom apartment; 2005: combination of my one bedroom apt with the studio next door; 2012: renovation of my new one bedroom apt. Each time I could depend on Minch to do what they said they were going to do. I highly recommend this company.

After a leak in the ceiling of my bathroom, I needed to scrape, replaster and repair walls and ceilings in every room of my apartment, including a greater rebuild of the bathroom wall. WE used the opportunity to make some updates to the bathroom appliances as well. Minch provided excellent service and excellent work. They were quick and required almost no input from me once the project started. I would - and have - recommended them to anyone requiring work.

Mr. William Deegan, the principal of Minch Construction, was responsible for a complete renovation of our large (3,200 sq. ft.) apartment. Overall he is very pleasant to work with; he finished our job on time and we are very pleased with the results. His various workmen and subcontractors are professional and dedicated. He is meticulous about details. One very important mention: he did not vanish into thin air at the end of the renovation. It is normal for things to arise over a period of time that need adjusting; he has been extremely responsive to all our requests and taken care of everything. We recommend him highly.

My clients and colleagues are pleased by their reliability, attention to owner's budget, and most of all completion in a timely fashion. I hired Minch Construction to remodel my mother’s very old (over 100 years) house. Minch far exceeded my expectations. I believe the adjectives phenomenal, superior, and top-notch are not adequate enough to describe a company which far exceeds its competitors. William and his team are professional contractors who are highly skilled in various areas of expertise. I was extremely impressed with their knowledge and ability to remove the sag in the roof which caused the beams and ceiling on the second floor to start collapsing. They were able to make the house structurally sound for my 85 year old mother to enjoy without sustaining further damage to her property. Minch Construction are dependable and punctual, and they take great pride in performing outstanding quality of work in a tidy manner. Minch’s prices are reasonable, and they are accustomed to working according to your demanding schedule. They are courteous, patient, and compassionate toward my elderly mother who was not thrilled to have strangers working in her castle. I only wish I knew about Minch Construction years ago, because I could have saved myself a lot of precious time, valuable money, and unnecessary aggravation. If additional works needs to be done in the future, I will hire Minch Construction again without hesitation. I highly recommend Minch Construction for any challenges you may be facing, and am confident that you will not be disappointed at all if you hire them!

"This company is terrific. They remodeled my kitchen and bathroom and they look beautiful. They delivered everything they promised on time and within budget--there were NO construction catastrophes or hidden expenses. Plus, they were pleasant, hardworking and clean--very clean. I'd hire them again in a New York second."

Minch Construction did a "gut" renovation on our 2000+ sq ft apartment starting in November 2003, and completing it in March 2004. "Gut" in this case means demo of floors, ceilings, interior walls, etc until the only thing left standing was electrical and water columns. New floors were laid. ceilings were "excavated" to increase height and plaster moldings were installed throughout. Minch did all millwork in their workshops and 7 ft doors were installed. New plumbing, appliances, electric were all installed. As design changes were made, Minch worked with me to control increased costs and the project was completed on time and within the revised budget. The "on-time" part was not easy in a Coop which required work stoppage for all holidays. The project is now nearly 10 years old and shows no sign of wear. Where there have been minor "fixes" required, Minch has responded quickly and effectively and we are totally satisfied. Fred Purches
