I have had the pleasure of working with Joy Martin and Allison Landers of Joy Martin Architecture on a few projects now and have truly enjoyed working with them. I first met Joy after I purchased an old house in South Minneapolis. When I purchased the house, I knew that there were many things I wanted changed before I would love calling it my home. I met with a number of architects prior to contacting Joy (who was recommended to me by a colleague). However, unlike Joy, none of those architects were able to take my thoughts and ideas and turn them into a visual representation which far surpassed what I thought was possible with the house. Her innovative approach and ideas resulted in a transformation of my home into one that perfectly reflects my style. Joy has a tremendous drive, work ethic, and commitment to her clients. I was new to and unfamiliar with this entire process and Joy was always there for me to answer any questions or concerns I had. It was clear that Joy was representing me and keeping my best interests in mind while managing the relationship and issues that arose with the contractor. Joy’s creativity, knowledge, experience and critical eye for architecture are all reflected in what is now my amazing and incredible home. I realize more and more how lucky I was to have found Joy, not only for her innovative designs and plans but also for the amount of caring, passion and soul she was willing to put into my home.
