About Us

Turney Lighting & Electric has evolved over the years to become the San Antonio region’s premier designer lighting showroom. Founded in 1983 by Ron Turney, Turney Lighting has grown from selling only fans to builders to offer a wide selection of custom lighting, indoor and outdoor lighting designs, lighting controls such as dimmers, fan controls and even a state of the art whole home automation system.

With a full staff of Professional Lighting Consultants certified by the American Lighting Association (ALA), Turney Lighting & Electric has the expertise to light your home from conception to completion and will help you discover your personal lighting style.

G.J. Gardner. Homes of Boerne loves to work with Turney Lighting! They are quick and easy to communicate with. Their product doesn't disappoint! We have used this company on the majority of our projects and are very satisfied. We highly recommend them! Their Customer Service excellent.

updated from last review: after an intense situation with a member of staff at Turney, I was contacted by the owner himself Mr. Ron Turney. He was apologetic and understanding to what had transpired, and it's clear he knows what customer service is all about after many years in the business. Mr. Turney does seem to care about his customers and it helped a really bad situation.

Extremely satisfied with both customer service amd products. We needed under cabinet lighting for our kitchen and Brenda knew exactly what we needed with a sketch we showed her. She was very patient and knowledgeable. We will definitely be using Turney Lighting in the future.
