My wife and I were looking to replace our kitchen island and were concerned that a kitchen design company would be pushing for a full kitchen renovation. But from the moment we met with Greg and Jen, they listened to what we were looking for, and throughout the process we never felt pressure to go farther than we were ready to go. Their design was beautiful and has completely transformed our kitchen - the center of our lives - and Zook's carpentry, plumbing, electrical and granite professionals were the best we've encountered in over 25 years of such projects in our homes. We couldn't be happier!

We love our kitchen!!! When my husband and I interviewed contractors to renovate our outdated country style kitchen we were shocked and disappointed at the lack of creativity and vision these people had (they were also over priced). The country style kitchen did not match the old world style of our home and my husband and I had a very good idea of how we wanted to update it. These contractors pretty much drew up all our ideas while offering little suggestion. The few suggestions that were offered were pretty useless and brought no continuity to our ideas. When we met with Mr. Zook for the first time, our confidence was low but as we spoke to him he immediately understood what we wanted and offered excellent suggestions to some of our ideas that we weren't sure about. My husband and I loved rocks so we incorporated a stone archway over our cooking area. Mr. Zook had examples of what we wanted in his showroom and he did similar projects in the past. He suggested a copper sink which we love. We wanted a built in dining cabinet to store our everyday dishes, bowls and utensils etc., which would be located right next to the table for easy access. Mr. Zook designed a large beautiful cherry wood stained cabinet with glass doors and we incorporated a granite counter top and beverage drawers. The end product was a beautiful serving station which we enjoy everyday. I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Zook. He always answered his phone and returned our calls promptly. We always felt like he cared about our project because he always was willing to listen to our concerns and he always did his best to make us happy and at ease. Mr Zook not only offered us his expertise in design but he also lead us to the appliance and granite retailers that he dealt with, and everyday we get to enjoy top appliances such as a steam oven, induction stove and in our opinon the most beautiful granite counter tops we have ever seen. Our built in microwave drawer is an appliance Mr. Zook suggested that our whole family uses everyday and is an asset to our kitchen. Everyone reading this review can see how thoroughly pleased we were to have found Mr. Zook of Zook Kitchens. We highly recommend him to all. My husband and I are now considering putting a built in bar in our family room and the only one we would consider for the job is Mr. Zook.

READINGTON NJ KITCHEN AND BATH PROJECT We recently worked with Zook Kitchens to remodel our Kitchen and a small bathroom. Before hiring Zook we met with and received quotes from several other kitchen remodelers. Zook was not the cheapest quote we received, however there was a feeling of comfort we experienced when talking with Greg and Jen that we did not feel when talking to other remodelers. Because of that feeling we decided to sit down with them to discuss our projects in more specifics. After meeting with them (several times) we were convinced that they were the right people to work with, and in the end, we were not that far off from a price perspective from where we wanted to be. Throughout the process both Greg and Jen were patient, knowledgeable, helpful and interested in us getting a completed project that we would like. They also did not just tell us what we wanted to hear. They pointed out things to us that didn't make sense, they pointed out areas that may present problems (fortunately none did) and they made recommendations along the way. Once they started the job, we had felt like we knew them for years, when in reality we met them only 2 months before, at our first meeting. Their team was excellent and accommodating. There were no surprises and they kept to a pretty strict timetable. Overall, we are very pleased with the way both the kitchen and bathroom turned out and the working relationship we had with the Zooks. There is no question that quality and customer satisfaction are very important to them and what they do. We would have no hesitation in working with Zook Kitchens on a future project.

We contracted with Zook Kitchens three months ago to renovate our kitchen, laundry and powder room. The level of customer service from start to completion far exceeded our expectations.
