Six years ago, we asked Chris to reconfigure our existing downstairs space and design a large kitchen diner extension. Even from the initial sketches it was clear that he completely understood the brief, and that it would be possible to achieve what we wanted in a sympathetic, interesting way. Our extension is truly beautiful, with a unique tilted roof, specifically designed to maximise ceiling height and the feeling of space inside, whilst not encroaching on the neighbour's light levels. Internally, the space is well considered, with interesting design features, a modern look, ample room to move around and a very natural flow. We recently (reluctantly) put our house on the market, just prior to the Covid-19 lockdown. On the first weekend of viewings, we had 3 offers and, despite the difficult market, we sold the house at the asking price within a week. The extension that Chris designed for us really made the house stand out on the property market. We have recently been back in touch with Chris to consult on a ground floor reconfiguration for our new house, before even moving in. I think this serves as ample evidence of the endurance of his designs.

Working with Chris on our complete gut and rebuild project was a really positive experience, and has resulted in a stunning and well-built house. Chris listened carefully to our ideas and needs, and offered options that we could immediately see working for us. His knowledge of suppliers and ways to realise our ideas on a tight budget was impressive, and his design for us was ingenious and extremely liveable, for our busy household. Chris and his team were extremely professional in communicating with us and in working to deadline, and did an excellent job as the liaison with our builders. We couldn't recommend him more highly.
